Unless there is still enough dragonfyre in the catacombs to blow the whole place to hell, a secret entrance accessible by sea, and a hero willing to go out in a blaze of glory to save humanity.over a million people not prepared for the fight against the night king is what they have. If the NK turns Kings Landing, the war is over. He won
While true, I don't think the NK thinks like that. I think he sees himself as an unstoppable force. He believes victory is inevitable. He is death. I think some mistakenly attribute human logic to him. He hasn't been human in a very long time. JMO.There are a million people there to kill and join his army. He would have a much easier time destroying whoever is left after winterfell with that many added to his army.
But is he not capable of reason and critical thinking? Did he not notice that the ice didn't break before waging his attack last season? I think he is a commander, and thinks as suchWhile true, I don't think the NK thinks like that. I think he sees himself as an unstoppable force. He believes victory is inevitable. He is death. I just don't see him as a master strategist so much as I see him as an unnatural force. He's not unintelligent, he's just very goal driven. Right now, his goal is Bran. He's not interested in conquest. If conquest were his goal, I would agree that attacking King's Landing makes sense, but his goal is wiping out humanity, starting with the Three Eyed Raven. He wants Bran. But is he not capable of reason and critical thinking? Did he not notice that the ice didn't break before waging his attack last season? I think he is a commander, and thinks as such
