There is no chance that Jamie dies before getting to confront Cersei again... that is too rich of a story arc. I am concerned for Brienne's well-being in the next episode though. The knighting-by-the-fire ceremony had the look and feel of a sendoff.Part of me thinks that while Jaime has turned into a better man than he used to be, he also is very interested in self-preservation. He knows that if he’s fighting near Brienne, she will protect him, perhaps even die for him. Brienne gets a hero’s death and Jaime lives on to finish up his other storylines.
The emotion shown after she got knighted seemed real. There is no chance that Jamie dies before getting to confront Cersei again... that is too rich of a story arc. Do you have a source for this? You seem very confident in that fact but I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere.
prequels. My only complaint of this season so far: I am still not happy with the lack of story for the night king. Would it really kill anyone to have Bran have a vision of the past of the night king? It would take 10 minutes told. He wants to erase the memory of this world, okay but why? What made him the night king? Why did he betray the children of the forest? What happened that caused the wall to be built?

The ancients knew that the White Walkers were a reality and took precautions. So let’s say that the Night King does have the power to raise the random dead. In the Crypts of Winterfell each dead King and Lord of the North has a statue that’s stands and a guard and warden over their tomb which prevents resurrection.
Gods let's hope not. Here's a quote about it:Is D&B writing the next series?
