I’m not predicting this, but I fully expect some sort of undead presence to re-emerge at the end. Don’t know how they’d pull that off, but this was way too simple.I feel like the WW were shafted in the storyline. To mean so much and go out so quickly...just sad. A three way battle for the throne would have been epic.
Book reader here... I enjoyed it.I freaking loved it. Every salty comment I’ve seen has been from a book reader that just wanted the show to go their way and it didn’t.
I think that it will be revealed that Tyrion is a Targaryen, he being the eldest he becomes king, then Sansa will remain married to him or remarry him to become queen. There's too much goin on there for nothing to come of it. Jon will kill Denaryus (sp) protecting Sansa. Just a theory. If they are following any kind of pattern, watch Sansa make a play for the throne. (theory)
I wouldn't mind this endingI think that it will be revealed that Tyrion is a Targaryen, he being the eldest he becomes king, then Sansa will remain married to him or remarry him to become queen. Tyrion is, at best, a bastard so no he wont be in line as king.I think that it will be revealed that Tyrion is a Targaryen, he being the eldest he becomes king, then Sansa will remain married to him or remarry him to become queen. I like this. Instead of yet another undead appearance, Bran becomes the new “whoa” opponent...One theory I really like is that Bran, being the Three-Eyed Raven and not Bran at all anymore, isn't on the Stark's side or even humanity's (at least, modern man's) side. Instead, he's working to destroy the WWs (done) and most/all of humanity (via the inveitable war between Cersei and the North), to allow the world, or at least Westeros, to revert to its natural state (the Dawn Age).
At that point he's a semi-villain but with perhaps honorable intentions, given the suffering in the world and the death and bloodshed due to battling over the throne for generations.
I just can't accept that his role is essentially "done" and that his transformation to the 3ER was solely to be used as bait to draw out the NK into a vulnerable position. There has to be more to it than that.
turn the lights out and go movie theater dark, and re watch it. i had no issues seeing it. if that's not enough, turn the brightness or contrast up on your TV.I hope so. It's not that I didn't like last night show, but I can't see like I used too. Old age is here. I had to squint to make out who was fighting who in the first half last night.
Simple? Basically every great house and most of the people of the North, The Knights of the Vale, The Riverlands, The Dothraki, The Unsullied, The Wildlings...are all virtually WIPED out...SMH...this is one of the dumbest, and oft repeated gripes I am hearing..it makes zero sense to me. The NK is dead and his threat is forever ended, but it left them with nothing...nothing.I’m not predicting this, but I fully expect some sort of undead presence to re-emerge at the end. Don’t know how they’d pull that off, but this was way too simple.
well, in his conversation with Theon, when he said "everything you've done has brought you here, where you're supposed to be" kinda give you some indication that that's exactly what it was.I just can't accept that his role is essentially "done" and that his transformation to the 3ER was solely to be used as bait to draw out the NK into a vulnerable position. There has to be more to it than that.
Closer? They were all right at the edge of death..The WW had won...Jon was going to let Viserion toast him to keep from being turned..I do not understand this comment.Book reader here... I enjoyed it.
I will say I wish they made the battle a closer fight and included the actual white walkers and those, rather than the wights, attributed to the deaths of the characters except Lyanna. But I didnt mind the ending. Arya is a badass in the show and books. Totally didnt see it coming
You left out all that was left of the North, and the Knights of the Vale, and the Wildlings...speaking of which...which group of people in this show has had it harder than the Wildlings? They are basically extinct. You just marginalized the Dothraki and the Unsullied...the largest number of humans involved in the battle.
I mean that it didnt seem so lopsided right outta the gate. Heres what I would like to have seen. Please also note, I liked the episodeCloser?
