HBO's "Game of Thrones"

It would be crazy and fitting if after the last battle when Cersei is defeated and good has triumphed, the Night King takes over Bran through his connection to him and raises all the fallen dead and kills everyone.

Either that or Bran does it himself to return Westeros to how it was when the Children Of The Forest were the only ones there
SMH..😖

I think it ends with a few characters(I really don't know which)picking up the pieces and basically having to rebuild a destroyed society. I think the feudal system will be broken forever, and a wildling type of society will emerge from the ashes of Westeros. The Iron Throne will not exist to fight over. What people are missing in all this...almost all of the great houses and scores of minor ones are already extinct. I'm almost positive Dany is dead meat, and it will not surprise me to see Jon dead also. I think Tyrion and Sansa may actually live to work together at rebuilding what is left. I think pretty much everybody else is toast, and that pisses me off.

Lol, not saying I want it...just saying it would be very fitting for this series. I'm with you. I want to see most of the characters that I'm deeply attached to survive and usher in a better world.

I think most people are too caught up with the shocking deaths and are mistakenly thinking that is the point of the series. IMO, the deaths of loved ones and overall brutality was a plot device to make us appreciate the survivors who are fighting against terrible odds to make a better future for all and it will be that much sweeter because all that they have lost.

GRRM has a lot to do with all this. His failure to finish the books failed to give D&D a roadmap so they just ran with whatever they thought of.
As someone who doesn't get into the behind the scenes, -- why doesn't the show consult him?

Gotcha, but I don't think it will go down like that. The jerks will twist the knife in us now. I dread what happens next.

They do, and the end point will be the same in the show as the books, they have known the end of the story since the beginning, GRRM has already planned the end, just how they get to that point is, and is going to continue to be, completely different.

there might be a few that will still die but everyone that watches the show has to admit. All of the main characters that have lived, are survivors. Most don't like Sam but he is a survivor. He would have never made it back to the wall if he wasn't.

The thing that disappoints me about Sam's character. He lost a lot of his weight and kind of grew up in the book during his time beyond the wall. And, in the show he's still uncertain of himself.
I'd disagree some. He's sure of himself and has confidence. He's grown as much as anyone when compared to his arrival at the wall.

He's just not good in combat. Especially before a battle with the dead.

I worry about that too but I think we might be surprised with how it all ends. Just like with VN, the negative minority are vocal but most people are inheritly optimistic even if they don't always voice it.

I don't think the producers want to drive those fans away from the series when there are so many future opportunities to continue the story in other formats GRRM could leave an even bigger fortune for his family by selling the rights when near death.

Did the debt ever get officially verifiably paid back to the bank? I know Sam's dad said it was delivered but the head of the banks siad he was looking forward to future ventures with the Lannisters IF the money arrived.

With Tywin in regularly claiming the bank is the power, do we not think they may play some role in the final 3 episodes?

I agree about that, they can not burn half the fanbase when they are rolling out another hugely expensive series. I hope they get it right.

Something not being considered regarding the nk v Jon... The nk didn't view Jon as his rival. That was bran.

There never was any inevitability to a Jon v nk Battle... At least from the nk perspective...
According to Bran. We truly have no idea what the NK wanted. I really to see something from his perspective.
Euron is a character built like someone on a daytime soap opera

Book Euron is a bad guy worthy of following the death of the Night King. Legitimately the most scary human character I can think of. This show version does nothing for me.

Would you want to consult anyone when the world is constantly telling you how great you are?

Some of yall are so funny. 😂

If arya died "wut happened wit all dat training doh... hurrrrrr I'm not happy"

If Jamie died "but wut about cersei and that conclusion to the story arc huuurrrr"

If sam died "but who is telling the story hurrrrrr"

If Jon died "but why bring him back to die again hurrrrrrr"

If Dany died "but what was the point of the targaryens getting pushed on us all series if she was just gonna diiiieeee huurrrrrrr"

If the hound died "but wut about clegane bowl huuuuuuurrrrrrr"

In other words we would have heard the whining no matter what. No win situation. An unpredictable end to NK? Its hated because folks liked it when GOT was... unpredictable 😐.

He is one character that I don't think they get right. I think they pretty much nail everyone elses from the books.

I think they get him right for TV entertainment purposes but they don't capture the depth of his character in the books. The rest of the cast fit the books and TV series perfectly.

I 100% agree on the Euron character in the books, he is a hardcore scary individual on the order of his Ironborn ancestor Harran the Black.

book euron is a psychopath. this dude is jack sparrow compared to book euron

I don't think they could have his book persona and Cersei's show persona working together like they do. The book Euron would rape her, then give her to his men to rape her, and then have her chopped up and fed to them in a stew.

Pretty much the rest of the cast was introduced when GRRM was involved in seasons 1-4. I think he stepped back after season 4. Euron first appeared in season 6? I'm not surprised his character is lacking.

I think Euron is going to kill Cersei in the show if it looks like Dany/Jon are going to win. Last ditch effort to save his skin and then Jaime will kill him in combat.
