Aside from the UK beatdowns last year, CCM teams always play to their competition. Im not convinced whatsoever that CCM is a good coach. Im not downing him, but hes done nothing that screams "I will win championships at Tennessee"

:good!: That's what I'm trying to say there were a few times there in the first half and again soon after the 2nd half started where Ole Miss got like 4 or 5 calls in a row to start the half that CCM should have been up and at least making a couple of gestures of wanting the same calls on the other end.

Lets not judge CBP's tenure on 1 year with the black cloud of the ncaa hanging over the program. He made a mistake and he paid for it, but overall he was one of the most successful coaches in UT history

Gestures usually make refs, say "oh man maybe I should start making calls" get out of here..

They're not mutually exclusive. Pearl is the best coach UT has had since Mears, but he didn't leave this team in the best position. I've never diminished the job that Pearl did; I just think people are rushing to conclusions on Martin.

The cold hard truth is that this is a NIT team. Anyone expecting anything more after Maymon was officially ruled out was setting themselves up for disappointment. You could see it clearly in Dec when the team couldn't score. They aren't going to change spots in over a month. You can only hope they can keep it together and players get experience and get better for next year.

They'll add Maymon and Hubbs and should be much better and a year wiser. If Martin doesn't make the NCAA tourney next year with that roster he will be fired.
