Jeez.....how old are you 11, 12? If he cannot rely on his OC to help him call the play, then we don't need him. THE INFO HE IS GIVING HEUPLE IS WAY TOO FRIGGIN VANLLA!!!! DO YOU GET IT?
😂 oh I get it. You’re too dim to spend time arguing with.

Heupel calls the plays but Halzle is supposed to be analyzing what’s going on down on the field from the booth and he just doesn’t do it as well as Golesh did.
Golesh actually did get to call more plays. Heupel was way more comfortable with him bc he had Hooker on the field as well. He isn’t going to give the play calling to Joey with a first year QB on the field yet.

Ignorant fans blaming play-calling after a loss is predictable and boring.

It’s also played out.
We should’ve scored a bit more. A lot of it came down to execution. Nico looked pretty good tonight. Pretty good just isn’t good enough in Athens but he needed some help. Our WRs disappoint me.

I figured it was more back and forth with them before but the eyes up top are super important since Heupel is on the field and has way more other duties than just the offense.

I know the majority of the fan base doesn’t want to hear this but he has to go find a QB that can run this offense or he has to change his style.
Nico is fine. Hooker was just special. You’ll see a huge leap next year in his play. Hell you’ve seen a huge step in his play between Fayetteville and Athens tonight.

Yeah I think time management sometimes is sketchy bc Heupel has a lot to manage.

To start a thread predicated on the notion that the OC calls the plays, is beyond just stupid. It's galactically stupid
OMG. Some of you teenagers need to learn football. Well I guess Mike Bobo is the most galactically stupid OC in NCAA football. Why do you see his mouth moving , while he's on camera tonight.............you think he's telling jokes?...............No he is in Kirby Smart's and Carson Beck's ear calling the plays........yeah.....that is so stupid huh? Let's see if we can get one that stupid.

If 167 yards passing and no TD’s is fine with you don’t complain about losing to the elite teams in the conference.

Teams like Georgia are going to give him the short passes but until he proves he can stretch the field this offense is going to sputter.

Yeah he needs someone good up there. I’m sure he thought he could develop Halzle to see things the way he did up there but it’s just not happening.

Idk. I do think if Josh wasn’t happy he would make a change there though. There’s a huge difference in coaching with a wealth of talent at every position and it being three deep. Tennessee has some great talent at some positions, our Oline isn’t remarkably deep, our WRs aren’t remarkably great imo; we really need one guy that’s a threat and is consistent we don’t have it yet.

We’ll get there soon. If the oline is even above average Nico will go tf off. He was starting too before this game. And I know people are complaining about him too but he actually had a good game with people in his face constantly and receivers not getting open. He was really decisive all game. There were just a couple plays where he could have made something better happen but you don’t have too much time to think about it against UGA’s defense.

WRs aren’t getting separation either consistently. When they do they’re dropping the ball. Squirrel had a decent game tonight. Bru is good but he’s not elite. None of our other guys get consistent separation and catch the ball when it hits them in the hands.
