Georgia got to come home for the first time in over a month and finally played like a team that has 70 blue chip recruits.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. Carson Beck also solved his off the field distraction related to a pregnant girlfriend he married (some UGA fan was talking about it).

Tennessee can't catch a break. You will fine that out as Vols fans, one of the unluckiest programs in the SEC.

Losing to Arkansas really hurt the season.

Dude catch catch the balls for the WRs or pass block. Play calling hasn’t been the main issue on offense this year. 💀

You didn’t make the connection.

(Psst…execution matters more than play-calling. That’s the answer)
I’m sure you can agree that optimal play calling leads to better execution. Both are lacking with this offense. Both are at fault.

If 167 yards passing and no TD’s is fine with you don’t complain about losing to the elite teams in the conference.

Teams like Georgia are going to give him the short passes but until he proves he can stretch the field this offense is going to sputter.
WR have to be there. They are not good either. Way to inconsistent and can't do small things right. Need A WR Coach this offseason

The loss at Arkansas will haunt us . At the beginning of the year most would have said 10 and 2 was the ceiling. Stings to let a golden opportunity slip thru our fingers. Our offense has been inept for a while now. Blame play calling or execution . Most disappointed in our D. I do blame coaching for our poor performance against Ga. Beck could have had a sandwich while he waited for someone to come open. Give any QB that much time and you lose .Which is what happened. In the Tennessee way there’s always next year but don’t count on it.

Heuple cannot keep on holding onto this STRICTLY VANILLA CALLING wannabe OC. This is unacceptable to all VOL fans and to the university. Do yourself a favor, give him whatever money is in his contract and go get a great OC. I posted earlier this week that it would come down who could call a better game..........and I was right. Bobo beat Halzle, and almost every other offensive , defensive coach. Our special teams were the only coaches that did their job tonight. You will never have a SEC championship , let alone any other championship until you get rid of him. To all Vol fans, until we realize this, and more importantly, Heupel realizes it, Tennessee will not win another championship with him as an OC.
Tennessee won’t win a Championship with Choke Huepel calling those garbage plays… Have all the talent and still choke…

We have a FRESHMAN QB…. We knew this at the beginning of the year… we got hosed my the refs… it is what it is.
SHHHH!!!! From preseason, we had folks here declaring Nico as Volgod 2.0. Even denying he was inexperienced and a frosh QB. You be careful with your words, they might be lying in wait for you.

I agree I have complained about the WR’s all season. They get no separation and have drops at the most crucial time.

Heupel has not defeated Georgia, Florida or Alabama on the road since he got here, quality road wins are very hard in the SEC, it takes top shelf game plans, creativity on both sides of the ball (particularly late in the season) and solid execution on the field, none of which Heupel has been able to generate on the road during his tenure here with the notable exception of the LSU game two years ago at 11:00 a.m. central and the Missouri game in Columbia when Tennessee hung 62 on the Tigers.

There are a number of not ready for the big time coordinators and position coaches on Heupel's staff, if he's not willing or able to adjust various aspects of his program, 10-2 is his ceiling and the likelihood of winning big time road games in the SEC play will be difficult, our schedule will always include Florida, Georgia and Alabama, there will be years where we will have to also play Texas, South Carolina as well as LSU.

Nico has been here almost two years. He enrolled early, had all of last year to learn and has played 10 games. No need to put caps on the freshman no matter how many times the media says “he’s a freshman”

Gotta go on 4th downs 3 or so more times last night. It was obvious uugaly was hot on O - so put the foot on the gas and try to keep up.

Otherwise have no huge issues with play calling…

Nico has to get tougher....period..too ****ing fumbled prone and he's not even imo a top 10 freshman qb in the country right now, Sam Levitt from ASU and Lannorris Sellers from SC are more talented freshman qb's than Nico by a wide margin until he get's his **** together. No ****ing way that the offense shouldn't be moving the ball against anyone at this point with that many returning starters on the O line and the skill position talent that UT has up there. Hell give Sellers or Levitt that offense in Knoxville and holy ****! Probably undefeated at this point. Nico is the problem along with the pass protection and play calling...The d line has been overrated all ****ing year to especially the returning starters Lagway and Fla are gonna be dangerous next year and he's just a true freshman to along with Baugh the rb,,,smh...
