Heupel Says Nico Good to Go in Current Presser

A litany of posters in this thread are calling out your attitude and you still feel the need to be unpleasant.

I hope whatever it is you're going through gets better. Take care.

I remember when a concussion was just called “getting your bell rung” and the athlete would usually keep playing. It’s better now out of precaution but it sure causes a lot of drama.
And rightly so, CTE is a real thing and concussions are cumulative in their effect. So drama is warranted IMO

Does the line in this game indicate Vegas thinks Nico isn’t playing? Hmmm… 🤔
I think the line in this game indicates Vegas has seen how sluggish our offense has been since the Kent State game. If everybody is on the same page on Saturday I think we come out of Athens with the W.....but that's a big IF....

I rewatched the game last night and the play he got banged up. He was shook up but came back for two plays after and looked very sharp on his throw. I really believe it was them being very cautious and that he will definitely be playing this weekend.

Actually there is.... he is easier to defend than Nico because not a threat to run.. meaning if you are defending him like you would Nico you are leaving yourself vulnerable.
He did take off for a decent run against Miss State but yeah he’s not going to burn you much with his legs.

Was watching Finebaum today interviewing SEC analyst and former Alcoa/Kentucky star Randall Cobb.
Cobb said he thinks Nico has an injured shoulder and didn’t even mention a concussion.
Said he thinks Nico will play with his shoulder heavily bandaged while being heavily medicated.
Said that several sacks and hits on shoulder would put him out of game.
No pushback or alternate opinion from Finebaum.

Eh…not so sure about that one.

Reggie Cobb played RB for Tennessee and is now deceased. Randall Cobb played QB/WR for Kentucky and, to my knowledge, is still alive. Guessing you meant Randall.

Either way, I think he’s wrong.

Heupel is a danged genius. If you listen to the VQ Podcast and even 247 for that matter, it's pretty clear that it had something to do with his head. Concussion or precaution of a potential concussion. The more people outside the program are guessing, the more work for the UGA coaching staff.

You think it was the play where he ran near the goal line?

Honestly, whoever that guy is has a good point. Holding Nico is playing card helps rankings. But in reality, he doesn’t play.
