I thinks it’s more like the fans love what he is doing and nobody wants them to celebrate their team after years of shittyness. We compete with Tennessee and any other school every year. Some people would rather UK be a free win but it never will be under stoops. Nobody thinks Kentucky football will be a powerhouse. Kentucky is a basketball school. A basketball powerhouse. Most of stoops fans are kentucky basketball fanatics that enjoy seeing some success. He needs to just keep winning games. He don’t make the schedule.Kentucky is playing to their highest potential under stoops. Their program will never be a football powerhouse and their fans just can’t accept it after getting 10 wins a with a joke of a schedule
They are. Did I mention they’re delusional?Tenn has been playing Kentucky since 1893 and Tenn has 82 wins vs 26 losses. Since 1985 Kentucky has only won 4 games out of the 36 games played. Without even looking at the rest of the SEC, I'm betting they have about the same losing record with everyone except Vandy. Kentucky as blueblood football program? They must be hitting the jug.
Not sure. But their time will pass.I agree with everything you said. But as a UK fan I know all of those things are true for the most part. Stoops gives belief that he can change some of that. He already has. Even if teams have been down or they have a week schedule he has shown it is possible to have good teams at Kentucky. He gives a chance of winning and at Kentucky that is awesome. When it comes to football we all know what Kentucky football has been traditionally. That’s why it is so hard to give them any credit even if they have a solid team each year. If he keeps winning games it will keep getting better he is always improving. I think it is because he genuinely likes Kentucky and has had good people around him since he’s been here like his best friend since childhood. I think he really cares about changing the narrative and the support for the program. It’s come a long way and I think that’s why he will be there for a long time. Seems like he really puts in work and attracts a certain type of players. He has won games that Kentucky didn’t use to win against a bunch of teams. He doesn’t really have to win a championship to be loved over there tbh that’s just the truth but there’s always a small hope for a couple miracle games against the georgias and Bamas. I mean how many sec teams will win a championship in the next thirty years besides Bama and Georgia. It’s not easy to do anywhere
I don’t really care if Kentucky is a free win or not. Might as well be if you look at his record against us. That’s on top of us sucking bad for most of the time he’s been at Kentucky.I thinks it’s more like the fans love what he is doing and nobody wants them to celebrate their team after years of shittyness. It really is beautiful. The trash taking for a team that has beaten us 3 times in 37 games.I’ve experienced this first hand traveling to Lexington. In years when they are convinced they’re going to win, some if their fanbase becomes completely unhinged.
It makes their tears even more salty when reality comes crashing down.
Heh heh hehOh and there’s this epic takedown after another vols win.

Stoops has turned Kentucky into a good program. I would prefer them over Georgia and Bama. I like it when they beat Florida. He will have them in a bowl every year and top 3-4 in the East every year. I would worry about his brother pushing him to OK, other than that not sure if any other better landing spots for him then where he is now.I agree with everything you said.
