Homeland

I’m in season 5 and Peter Quinn is phenomenal. Disappointing to see this thread and see he eventually dies. I hate how Carrie screws up on the reg

What do you think the story is with the guy who took the picture of JJ? Any guesses?

I think the obvious answer would be a foreign govt information war. That guy was a professional and had the ability to drop it at precisely THE WORST time.

Maybe it was done in response to the air strike? Maybe Wellington is playing for the other team(s)? Just thinking out loud...

LOL. The first thing I thought of after seeing him was “Hey! That’s the Russian spy Oleg from ‘The Americans’”

Wow, that just got crazy pretty quick . I really do wish they would focus on foreign enemies than other stuff. Not trying to give away too much. I should’ve been a spook. I missed my calling.

Haven't seen it. Same actor? That would be funny.

Yup.

I think he might actually be an American, I agree he's professional though. Stealthy, quick thinking, resourceful, got in, got what he needed and then got out without raising any alarms or drawing attention. Agency man? Him and whoever he is working with wanted that gun fight to go down. The end goal is likely to make the public hate the president even more.

That's just one theory though.

Well, they are certainly working the Russian angle.

The whole demonstration thing was a bit anticlimactic.

What's stranger is Carrie showing up with a group of CIA friends out of nowhere. Next thing you know they're running an op with all kinds of tech involved.

Ha, now she's basically running a personal intelligence agency!

Told y'all it was the Ruskies.

It’s interesting, but I really miss the tradecraft stuff from the first few seasons. I’m just tired of hearing about Russia I guess.

Couldn't agree more

That sort of storyline grabs my attention more than domestic terror or cyber warfare. Spoiler alert...

When they broke into the Embassy in Pakistan is my favorite episode. That was great tv and writing. Now it’s piggybacking off of a combo of Trump and Hillary.

Man. I loved that season, and especially that episode.

I so wanted the team to take out that bltch Tasneem!

It was cool to see Quinn be in his element and take down bad guys. I thought that season was the best, even minus Brody, which was the genesis of the show . I get all geeked out about tradecraft and spy stuff. My grandfather was a Full Bird in the Pentagon and my Dad was a Captain. I always thought that line of work could’ve agreed with me.

Lol! Now I have to argue though. It's technically Russian related because the guy doing it is basically a rogue Russian agent but it's not really backed by Russia.

Those damn millennial Russian spies. :)
