Only one example. His whole national emergency abuse of power is about to be shot down by the senate. How often has that happened?
Why don't they revoke that power if they don't like it? They have the power to do it even with a veto by the president.

They love the president having that power (a normal president) they just refuse to sit idly by when the power is abused.

That's why they can override a Presidential veto. If they feel strongly enough about it then override his upcoming veto.

He’ll get killed in the courts, so I’m not too worried about this.

The shutdown over the wall fight was his Stalingrad. This fake national emergency declaration is his Kursk.

Which courts? You mean the liberal west coast 9th circuit that tries to set policy instead of interpreting law as it's written? Those courts? The only court that gets killed by the Supreme Court 80% of the time on appeals? Yeah, no need to worry.

Why is Congress "investigating" alleged crimes that supposedly were committed while the alleged perpetrator was a private citizen and crimes that are not related to the alleged's current job?

Because he promised to show his tax returns?

clearly I'm not a lemming for you - I consider you the most frightening poster here. Seriously, I would fear a person like you being in power more than anyone else I can think of.
Not so much frightening as he is pitied. I don’t fear Luther. When I read his tripe it’s more “ awww you poor thing bless your heart...”

A better question is why would he continually promise to release his returns when he knew full well he had no intention of doing so....think about it. The answer may surprise you.
The answer is he found out he was wiretapped and investigated even before in office. So he threw up two #1 signs with the middle fingers.

70,000 has run across (or tried) in the last month and you're still calling it a fake emergency.

You and your goons are a 1000 times more dangerous than Trump ever could be.

bump - anyone got an explanation for why this would be something Congress should do? Anyone have any examples of Congress investigating political officials about alleged criminal actions taken while said official was a private citizen?
