House votes to decriminalize marijuana at federal level

There is a gas station not too far from me that has 50 beer taps. Sells growlers.

FIREBALL is the big hit here. Fireball must survive off this area. I have never seen fireball sell anywhere else on earth like my area. You can get it in any amount, any way, in any size. To Go.

thirty packs- no problem

jug- no problem

milk jug- no problem

You want a shot to go... here you go.

I don't know who exactly is drinking all this fireball, but it's EVERYWHERE.

By coincidence there is a circle k (a big new one) not far from my dispensary. IDK if ohio will let them, but they would probs be 1/3 cheaper.

This is one that needs to be over come for beginners, and it's true generally. You pick up the cannabis for a healthier alternative, and wind up cracking beers. You take in almost twice as much thc with alcohol. It can be a bad combination. Old heads don't do it. Just use cannabis reasonably.

Meanwhile, I'm ready to whip out my credit card at the circle K.

I would try cannabis for pain before I took an opiate.

It doesn't take the pain away entirely, what it does is allow you to overcome pain, and not think about it. It may allow you to get up and move about. Depending on what you use it for, it can also have very beneficial side affects. Like I said, it's an anti inflammatory, anything anti inflammatory is generally anti cancer. That does NOT mean you should not use modern medicine to fight cancer, they are getting REALLY good at fighting cancer these days. It's just safer, and has few side affects. You can also drop it when ever you need to. It's a stress reliever, and stress is the biggest killer of all. I can make 300$ last a month at inflated state prices, and that is way cheaper than being an alcoholic. Less problematic as well. I don't buy every month either.

Yippee! , the GOPe should cave on social issues like legal weed and they’ll win more elections.

Marijuana abuse among 6- to 18-year-olds has increased 245% since 2000, while child alcohol abuse has steadily declined over those years, say researchers who analyzed poisonings over two decades. The jump in youth marijuana use echoes legalization of the drug across the country, she said. As of now, cannabis is legal for recreational use in 21 states and Washington, D.C., and medical use in 38 states and D.C.

Did you see the latest research from the University of Pittsburgh? They discovered why cancer comes back. Certain protein cells are left behind by the cancer after chemo. New treatments will combine chemo with something to destroy those cells so that cancer doesn't come back. Could save many, many lives.

So your solution to mj abuse is to ban it. Can you explain what you'll do when the alcohol abuse number goes back up?

FYI I don't expect a coherent answer on why you hate freedom. Don't hurt yourself

I haven't been keeping up with the recent latest, but I have heard from many people over the years (including steve jobs, and people who I knew personally) that they wish they had done more modern medicine treatments before they past. I have family in the cdc, and I know they are making tremendous strides rn in an "all in" on irradicating cancer. There are a host of new treatments that can target very specific cancers without killing everything now. As for the cannabis, it simply makes for a better stress free life, and that works really well with the modern medicines. It has a host of benefits, from allowing you to eat and sleep, to letting you get up out of the bed. Don't even get me started on seizures and MS, because it irradiates the tremors and shakes. You guys should visit a recreational state like Washington (stay out of cali), people are not sitting around stoned all day, in fact, more than not, they don't even part take. Funny thing happens when you are not forced to buy what ever you can when you can. When you can have it when ever you want, you can simple NOT use, and be more responsible.

Yes, expect the usual influx of drug addicts and problems with newbs when it first becomes available. But, the addicts and newbs alike get bored with cannabis pretty quickly (it takes a few years). Cannabis is really a pretty boring substance. You get bored with it easily.

I generally agree. The bottom line is that if something is illegal then you create a black market for it and the mob and other criminal gangs will run the business and burn down anything else that gets in their way. Drugs nation wide, guns in liberal cities, prostitution, and gambling are all very lucrative businesses. You just make the gangs rich, and they thank the government very much for this.

Legalize drugs, make people take responsibility for their own decisions, and put the criminals out of business (or at least put a dent in their bottom line).

The problem with legalizing drugs is the government then declares it taxable and they make it so expensive that the illegal drug trade can undercut the price by 50%. Anything the government touches turns to crap.

An example of this happening?
