The best solution is to end the driving under the influence money grab and punish people that crash under the influence.

That's basically what it is. DUI's = $$$$$. Now having said that, there are people who deserve DUI's, no doubt. However, the guy who realizes he has had a few too many and is sleeping it off in his car before he drives home isn't one of these.

If all the legal loopholes are passed then I will be raising a lot of Mary Jane for commercial sale up on the farm in the future. We have tremendous soil for nearly all kinds of crops.

Do those same companies test for alcohol? No.
If you’re in an accident they 100% do a drug/alcohol test and they can randomly screen you too. Lots of companies reserve the right to screen you for drugs or alcohol is they suspect you’re intoxicated at work. We had one where the guy came drunk, tried to go home “sick” and his manager stopped him in the parking lot. He blew a .25.

Legalize it, tax the crap out of it, and use the tax proceeds without exception to take care of our veterans.

Due to objections : Tax at a reasonable rate and give all proceeds to veterans.
How about legalize it and don't tax it except for sales tax on retail transactions?
But if we legalize it, who will fill the prisons and keep Fingerhut's and our elected representatives' cash flow going?

he doesnt realize if you "tax the crap out of it" you continue to foster the black market and thus reducing your potential tax revenue. Then all you've done is legalize

My guess is there will be some kind of sin tax on it much like tobacco and liquor

This tells me all I need to know about your knowledge on the subject. Illegal weed is not cheaper than legal weed, it can actually be much, much more expensive. And legal weed is top quality, it isn't some dumbed down "government weed." Its better quality than anything you will find on the street.

This isn't exactly right. Really depends on the area. IL taxes on weed are crazy and the illegal sales are still the method of choice for most. Great for tourist but locals still buy from the same folks they always have.

And if anyone is paying $50 for a tenth (legal or not) they have smoked themselves stupid.

Elaborate on this please from the article

"The vast majority of these arrests (92%) were for simple possession of the drug. 500,395 of those arrested for cannabis were simply found in possession of cannabis. Even if we take out all the arrests for being involved in unregulated cannabis commerce and just focus on arrests for cannabis possession, the numbers still outpace arrests for violent crimes."
It doesn’t disagree with what I said at all

Tell me you know nothing about the drug trade without telling me that

Prisons aren’t filled with random dudes who were caught with a joint. That’s a pothead myth

look, I am already legal in this fight. I can walk in tomorrow and buy 10 ounces and melt tabs and gummies. All legal. I can tell you Jim Jordan is making a **** TONE of cash off my situation. Total scam. I pay the state 200$ a year just to pay 50$ a tenth. Granted, it's good weed tho.
What’s the name of your strain of choice?

Well duh if you're in an accident
