How can he not be fired or suspended?

Like others have said... it seems very unlikely that MH is gonna fire Pearl cuz he pretty much fires himself at the same time. I also understand why many fans don't want him fired. He's probably not going to be fired.

But IMO, it's really the NCAA that I think is gonna come down much harder on Pearl and consequently UT bball. I have read others opinions that basically say how this is all fairly minor and the 'AA probably won't do much at all, if anything more than the self-imposed penalty by MH. To those who hold this view, I once again say.... LOL!!!!!

I understand your logic but I bet a lot of good coaches would risk it for a big enough paycheck. Why not? Theyll need a few years for stability and I dont see UTK getting any long term sanctions. Maybe a year or two but nothing longer.

I'm sure many of you have seen this article: Dana O'Neil: Latest Pearl revelation is most troubling of all - ESPN

O'neil paints a gloomy picture for Pearl (and MH too).

But the facts are what they. Pearl INTENTIONALLY violated NCAA rules and then lied about it to the NCAA's face. I mean this is so LOLOL!!!

I'll admit I've gone back and forth about Pearl. I loved his enthusiasm and the Bradshaw-Lofton teams and their scrappiness. Then I was very frustrated the last two years with the inconsistent effort and lack of discipline are teams displayed. Then suddenly we make an Elite 8... LOL!

I can't imagine the NCAA won't make an example out of Pearl. The guy BLATANTLY violated clearly stated NCAA rules. Then BLATANTLY lied when directly question by the 'AA. There is no gray area here. How can the NCAA not suspend pearl or place some significant penalties on UT bball? I mean he told the families "we are all knowingly breaking NCAA rules here". WTF??? LOL!!! He knowingly put all those kids freshman years in jeopardy. I can't imagine the 'AA not coming down hard concerning all of this.

Because you touch yourself at night... Repeatedly
