How I Met Your Mother

I'm kind of glad it's here. As much as I've enjoyed the show, it's time to end. This season has been ok but it's the definition of STRETCHING it out.

BTW, I know the joke is Robin doesn't get along with other women, so I get why she would struggle to find bridesmaids, but why wasn't her sister a bridesmaid? I get the real answer may be the actual actress wasn't available, but she was in an episode like 2 weeks ago, which in the show's timeline was really only like 3-4 hours ago.

Those that wanted a happy go lucky because this is a comedy got their ending.

This is pathetic.

it was 56 minutes of greatness. Closing everything and revisiting all the great moments of the show. All to end like that.

The ending was cheap. Not sure who thought that would make for a great series wrap up, but they were wrong.

I really hoped that the nameless #31 was the 31st attempt at a surrogate and that Robin had settled into a Brian Williams-esque anchor job so that she and Barney could get back together. I thought it should have ended with the children consoling Ted about the loss of their mother. They could narrate the flashbacks to the times as a family with her.

I didn't think most of it was very good. They rendered pretty much this whole season meaningless, all in about 3 minutes.

In fact this ending tells me is this show was drug out 3 seasons too long.

You've crapped on this show since the two years ago. Why not just quit watching and posting?

Was there ever any explanation as to why all of a sudden Saget disappeared as the narrator and actual Ted took over? If there was, I missed it. The ending was actually pretty predictable for anyone who had been paying attention.

I was questioning the Saget thing tonight actually

Yeah good job telling me to quit watching after they air the finale.

Just because I don't praise the show non-stop doesn't mean I should get to voice my pleasure or displeasure. And look around, I'm not the only one who thinks the ending sucked.

.

That was my issue with it.

Spend season after season searching for this woman...find her, insinuate things were great, aaaaand she's dead.

Spend what seemed like a dozen episodes in different seasons explaining why Ted can't be with Robin...to have Ted end up with Robin.

Not a fan.

Well this season in particular, they spend 20 episodes dragging out Robin and Barney's wedding.....all to undo that just like that.

And yes, they topped Ross and Rachel as the most dragged out, overdone couple storyline.

I'll agree with a previous post, the first 56 minutes were great but that last 4 minutes were awful.
