They pretty much shamed Ray Perkins back to the NFL after 4 years and Bear handpicked him as a "Bama Man."

DeBoer gets 4 years, probably (I'm guessing) by virtue of a well negotiated Jimmy Sexton contract that gives him that much cushion.

This situation is going to be very interesting to watch. DeBoer was able to take a 4 year starting QB with him to UW where he lead the offense for 2 years. Who on Bama roster can be a day one starter in his system? UW was over the moon with 4 losses in year 1, Bama will be in a uproar after the second loss.

You don’t play them every year. You’ve only played them three times since a 24-10 win in 2007 (which you were forced to vacate due to an NCAA investigation).

It helps when the SEC office is headquartered in Birmingham rather than more logical locations such as Atlanta or Nashville. Or maybe you just happened to randomly suspend the players in question for our game and no others for whatever reason. Could’ve been either one.

But you actually beat two teams that season. Don’t sell yourself short; they let that bowl victory over Colorado stand.

Personally, I wish he'd stayed at UW, I'd like Lanning to get another shot at him. Also, I do think he's probably as good of fit at bama as they could get. He's cool, calm, collected and a good offensive coach. Filling Saban's shoes is going to be difficult.
