That's why we don't crown a national champion after 6 games. Stats go out the window in rivalry games , and UT isn't last year's UT . UGA certainly has the Joe's to prove you right . We have a Kentucky team to deal with first though. If we stink it up and they expose us, it'll be a good indicator that you'll be back to gloat after our game . If we torch their defense and win big , you can run out and buy a box of Depends. You'll be needing them.

I agree 100% but when you have a coach that has several rings and several years of post season experience that is definitely an added benefit.

1. Because teams get down by 3 scores or more.
2. Because Tennessee scores fast and they have terrible TOP.
3. Because because Tennessee doesn’t have a good passing D and every team is “forced” to pass the ball.

If teams passed on Georgia as much as they have Tennessee (322 attempts) Georgia’s pass D would be rated 98th.

Tennessee’s scoring D is average

Tennessee’s turnover margin is good
Tennessee sacks and TFL is pretty good

Also, our time of possession being so low because we score so fast causes our defensive yardage numbers to look bad. The other team has the ball a lot more and for a long time giving them more opportunities to complete passes. They just can’t seem to score enough to beat us haha. If we are able to run a lot of plays in a short amount of time then our opponents are also usually able to run a lot of plays with much more time with the ball.

They finally got their title and were expecting to go an Alabama like run. Now they've realized dormant TN is awake again, and they're going to have a hard time just winning the East. They've got the superior roster by far, in 2 years I expect that not to be the case. If they go down on November 5th, they are in for a bad run against the Vols. Tennessee still is not giving up any more per pass or per completion than most other teams.

Tennessee gives up less per rush than most other teams……including Georgia.

As I stated in another post: if teams we’re forced to pass as much as they are vs Tennessee every single team would be rated in the 90’s to dead last in passing D. No matter how good their passing D is.

If GA wins this game it will be on talent alone. Im confident when it comes to X’s and O’s Heupel can coach circles around Kirby. With the talent differential between us and Bama we had no business even being close in that game and won…and Kirby is no Saban.

I honestly felt we would struggle against Bama’s D a lot more than we did. I remember looking at SEC D numbers a week or two ago and they were clearly at the top in terms of yards and points. I knew our offense was legit but felt that even after facing LSU and Florida that they would be challenged like they hadn’t been yet. Glad to learn that I was wrong.

I knew we'd stress their secondary , if we had enough time to get rid of the ball, but our linemen absolutely stunned me. They held their own to be sure.

I think UGA is better overall than Bama. Their pass defense is much better IMO. While I am not conceding a loss to UGA, I don’t see us winning that game. It’s in Athens.

I don't know if we win the game and certainly not confident that we do win the game.

If we can score like we did against allabubba and put pressure on Bennet like we did Young then I like our chances. Bennet is good but he is not Young and won't be able to make Young type plays.

Tn is actually 60th which is not that bad considering the explosive offense. If Tn can keep that going and hold onto to most of that next year they will be even deadlier next year all the way around. I’ve never seen any offense be this magnificent in just 2 years . Heipel is a genius I have to give credit where it’s due
