The Obama vetting process was described as a colonoscopy. They left no stone unturned. They were just as good as the RNC oppo research operation in 2008.

Tara Reade is now saying that she never filed a formal complaint with the Senate personal office or the Ethics committee. She now saying she wrote it on a clipboard at the Senate personal office.

Described by who? The people who conducted it? I'm sure the FBI considered their previous checks of Kavanaugh as being thorough as well.

Besides, what happened to the argument of traumatized women waiting years to come forward?

You want Biden to be clean. That doesn't mean he is. How about you apply the same standards to Biden that you would a Republican rather than using the typical double standard found in politics? Put the hypocrisy away, and just admit the bias that is in play here.

Ford kept changing her story too. When that was pointed out, some excuse was always presented. I'm not going to do that. I've always said these cases were BS because it's almost impossible to be sure who is being truthful in a he said/she said case. And no one should be assumed to be guilty. I stand by that opinion now as I did then, but the left needs to recognize how they've shifted their opinions based on politics. Kavanaugh was a fake morality play. That was always about politics as well.

Biden was so clean in 2008 that the only thing that the RNC oppo research found was that he was very focused on defining himself as a strong Catholic, but he was bad at tithing. Also, not as pro-life as he probably would have benefited from looking.

Doesn't change a thing I've said. You must know you've applied a double standard. That's the only reason I can think of that you feel the need to so vigorously defend Biden. Guilt. Remember that next time a Republican is accused. Innocent until proven guilty, not guilty because you don't like his political beliefs.

Also if there was a formal or informal complaint against Biden Ken Starr would have found it. At the time the complaint was supposedly filed Ken Starr was was chosen to review Sen Packwood's diaries by the Senate. Bob Packwood was under investigation for sexual harassment and assault. Ke Starr job was to find and all sexual assault and harassment complaints filed against any senator. Then in 1994, the Ethics in Government Act passed, which gave the independent council near carte blanche when it came to reviewing documents, security cameras, and visitor logs.

If there was a complaint against Biden an independent panel would've reviewed the claim and determine whether there was evidence to proceed. This would be agency papers per the FOIA guidelines. and therefore a copy would be made for his record, a copy for her records, and a copy for OPM for audit purposes. This would've occurred during a period of time when the Senate just got embarrassed with Packwood's diaries and subsequent ethics hearing.

I had other problems with Kavanaugh ie his massive amounts of debts and his terrible judicial opinions. I could care less about the double standard. This is politics. You play the game and you know how it’s played. Both were political but the Biden play is just sloppy.
