Reade states she was assaulted by Biden in 1993. 1993 and 1994 were the years of the biggest Sexual assault and harassment scandal in U.S. Senate history(The Bob Packwood Scandel). Ken Starr was charged with finding every sexual assault complaint and allegation. Also if there was a complaint the complaint would have also gone to the Senate Ethics committee. The minority chairman was Mitch McConnell who mesmerized everything.

It's strictly political. The left was convinced there was no way Hillary could lose. Then she did. That's when all hell broke loose. I don't care how many times people on the left deny it, this all stems from the shock of losing an election they never expected to lose. Doesn't matter if it was Trump or someone else. They were so certain of victory that when it didn't come, they went off the rails. Every action they've taken since that election supports that.

Biden is a known plagiarist. And he's been accused by multiple women of inappropriate behavior. Doesn't really speak to high character. Does his lack of morals bother you?

And ftr, I agree Trump lacks morals. That's not the argument. The argument is that lack of morals isn't really the issue here, or you'd have a problem with Biden as well.

And no, I don't support Trump. I don't support either candidate. I've routinely said they are both poor choices. Unfortunately, no one worth a damn will run.

And let's not act like the pressure isn't there. There was a call for a reporter to be fired for simply covering the story.

It very well could be. It still doesn't change the real issue, which is the double standard the left has used when it comes to one of their own being accused. Ford's story was full of holes as well, but they insisted we must believe her, simply because she came forward. That is my issue with the entire thing. "Believe women" until they accuse a Democrat.

I went back and searched the other night. The only "believe all women" mantras used in the Kavanaugh thread were used by MAGAnistas. You're attacking a strawman.

No, I'm not. The mantra used was "believe women", and it was used by Democrats during the Kavanaugh hearings. I'm not talking about specific posters on this board. Did you watch the Biden interview? Mika asks him about his statements of "women must be believed" and why it's different now than it was then. He didn't have a good answer by the way. Deny all you want, but it was real and it happened.

I recall several posters thinking Ford should be believed despite all the holes and inconsistencies in her story and the complete lack of any true evidence.
