The scoop is Pruitt hasn't offered anyone yet, none, and met or talked with 4 or so guys including Freeze. Freeze expressed interest thru his agent Sexton and requested to meet Pruitt last week. Sexton wanted to talk money and Pruitt stopped him. Enos has NOT been interviewed. Pruitt says him and staff have been hitting recruits hard this past week and will take his time to get the right players for our roster and right coach for the job opening. Also, Friday there was pushback from some UT officials early in the day as rumors started about hiring Freeze, but by Friday night that was cleared and Pruitt got full backing from UT. This job may be open for a number of days, it may not. It will be done on Pruitt's time

Glad we know who to blame if we don't get who we want and the offense is still sputtering in a couple of years.

I really don't care. People who claim to know someone, or know someone who knows someone means nothing to me. Second and third-hand rumors and speculation. Like a poster said back up thread a piece; I will believe when I see them standing at the podium.

Just stop. You can’t make a prediction based on a “source” and then when it looks like you were wrong try to hitch your wagon to someone who seems to have a more believable story. p.s. - after having been sucked into the "VN Vortex" that preceeded the Butch Jones and Jeremy Pruitt hires (yeah, I thought it was Gruden...shame on me), it has been sheer entertainment to sit back...not care...trust the AD and HC to get the best they can...and watch yet another episode of the VN faithful chase every squirrel that shows up on this board.
