RE: The Old Man....I was trying to remember where I know Amy Brenneman from, and I finally placed her. She's in Heat, where she plays a woman who is in love with a dangerous, older man and willing to go on the run with him from the authorities, LOL.
Did she really know what he did for money? I never got that from her. It could have been willful ignorance on her part.

I can't exactly remember but it was at least heavily implied that he was a criminal because of how he had to be ready to go on the run at any minute, and leave everything behind.

It was kind of surprising his face wasn’t all over television and newspapers. There would have been no deniability in today’s social media. And the “leave everything else behind” philosophy was in his discussion with Al Pacino’s character. I’d bet he never shared that with her.

Yeah, so I think the way the story goes is Pacino doesn't have any real proof that he's a bank robber, so it's not a manhunt. They're trying to catch him in the act. Remember the coffee shop conversation they have? He could've arrested him then, but they didn't have anything. It becomes a manhunt at the end. The story unfolds quickly enough that it's kinda reasonable that she didn't see anything in the news about him, yet.

True. I’m still applying modern day thinking. She couldn’t actually Google the guy…even if she was wont. He was fun, nice to her and intriguing. She had probably had some bad experiences and wasn’t looking to manufacture another. I wonder how many detectives wouldn’t have snapped up the crew and arrested them for unlawful entry in that botched robbery?

The Offer (series about the making of The Godfather) is pretty good. Sometimes it's campy (the scenes with Puzo and FFC, mostly) and I think my useless but formidable knowledge of events is getting a little in the way of my enjoyment, but overall I'd say it's really good. Matthew Goode steals every scene he's in and there is almost immediate buy-in with Myles Teller, and I wasn't sure what I'd think going in.
I just started it (I'm actually on episode 3) and I'm loving it.

Started binging Only Murders in the Building. Pretty funny, and I wasn't expecting a whole lot though I do love Steve Martin and I like Martin Short in small doses.

Only Murders In The Buiding is a fantastic show on Hulu! Why is Selena Gomez so damn hot? Also Hacks on Hulu is great! Hanna Einbinder is a cute ass redhead.
Terminal list on Prime is very intense, action packed, very good watch!

I think Hacks is HBO Max.

Interesting.
Just saw they're a go for season 2.

I'm kinda surprised only because it didn't seem appealing to those not in the restaurant business. I mean, I loved it because it was personal to me and I don't think I would have cared for it if not.

But, lol, you know I suck at tv and movies.

Anybody watch Snowfall? It's pretty good. FX show on Hulu about the coke trade in LA in the 80's. It follows 3 storylines. It's always fun to discover a show with 5 seasons ready and chambered for me.

I think I mentioned it to you when you were talking about Top Boy? I like it but haven't finished the newest season yet.

OMG, @Notorious B.E.N Jerome on Snowfall is one of the best characters ever. He is so fkn funny, both intentionally and unintentionally.

and that scene in season 2 when Kevin comes back to the stash house to tell them his cousin Delroy got sliced up...that was one of the most intense scenes I've ever seen.
