Hurricane Ida: The Aftermath

In your haste to take advantage of another tragedy and gleefully blame Dem officials for everything, you might want to, you know, wait for facts.

The reason N.O, is without power is because the power company's main tower collapsed and transmission lines went down. Is that the City's fault or the power company's?
Can you tell us where this "main tower" is? Does TVA have a main tower that they need to worry about too? Which part of Florida is their "main tower" located?

Still piss poor planing and management by the city government.

The failure raises questions about New Orleans' plan to use Entergy power to replace the Sewerage & Water Board's antiquated turbines as the primary source of power for the city's drainage system. City Council members who chair the committees that regulate Entergy and oversee the S&WB said the outage would prompt investigations into the power company and would require further scrutiny of the S&WB plan.

It’s obvious that it’s George W. Bush’s fault.

Shelter in place y'all .... no sh!t sherlock?? Great leadership is on full display.
I wonder if he's gonna be allowed, by his Boss, to take questions today about this storm?

Isn't that his answer for everything?

We evacuated lots of people during Katrina. Some of the rudest people I’ve ever seen. Big fat lady wanted another box lunch, I told her 1 per person, she went off on me. Some appreciated us, others didn’t.
Oh I can imagine..also caught a few people using that free government credit cards to buy purses and other ridiculous crap

New Orleans is hit by LOOTING in wake of Hurricane Ida: Thieves are seen stealing from store by a drone as city faces at least THREE WEEKS without electricity and death toll rises to 2

Louisiana residents have reported cases of alleged looting in the wake of Hurricane Ida amid fears crime could spiral in New Orleans and other cities after energy suppliers warned that power will be out for around three weeks as utility crews work to restore more than 2,000 miles of downed energy lines across the state.

New Orleans' mayor also announced that the death toll from the storm has officially risen to two after a driver drowned in their vehicle in the city. On Sunday, a 60-year-old man died when a tree fell on a home just outside Baton Rouge. Authorities have not released any information about the identities of the victims.

It is absolutely amazing that a storm of this magnitude and the fallout from it cannot enthrall the nation due to the magnitude and quantity of other ongoing fiascos. Both hilarious and sad at the same time.

Don't you know? Anything bad that happens anywhere, even natural disasters, is the fault of the democrats.

I'm convinced some of the Trash ride out the hurricane to take advantage of post storm looting.
In looking at the pictures above, I doubt that the owners of a burned down store really care what these guys take. I'm pretty sure it's all ruined.
