Hurricane Michael

Agreed. The storm will be hurricane force far inland.

And furthermore, the same places impacted by Florence's flooding in SC and NC are going to get another large dosage of rainfall.

We can’t take much more water around here. The rivers are still at flood stage and the tides are all the way to the dunes. They are actually higher than they were with Florence. The marshes are completely full. Hopefully it won’t overrun Hwy 17.

I vacationed in the panhandle last week and came back Sunday. I’ve been going the same week in October for the past few years. I thought the water was warmer this year than any other year.

I had CNN and Fox going for a while. Both got on my nerves.

GV... Would you rather have 1000 earthquakes in a year (i have no idea how many Oklahoma gets in a year, just spitballin), or 1 category 4 hurricane and no other Hurricanes for 5 years?

Earthquakes aren’t the issue in Oklahoma.
EF3-EF5 tornadoes are.

Speak for yourself, I've gotten some pretty nasty tremors out here.

As for the answer to the no earthquakes, I'd prefer (knowing now what I know and knowing how to be prepared and being prepared) going through one Cat 4 rather than five tornado seasons.

Meh.
We had some in Arkansas too. Furniture moving across the floor etc.
I’ll take that any day over tornado sirens at 2am.

TWC crew were in PSJ and left for safety reasons.

Yeah, I heard that as well. TWC was trying to station in Port St Joe and they simply couldn't find a structure nearby they felt could handle the winds so they pulled out. It looks like they were right.
