If fired, Holly will sue and force a settlement. That's the last thing we need. And we should bring in the best coach we can get-- male or female-- not limit our search options. But this team is definitely headed over the cliff, and Holly's no HC. Unfortunately, she just celebrated her 100th win, which given our current legal and financial predicament, most likely buys her another year.

I didn't mind Holly her first three years. Other than a head scratching loss here and there, she was ok. This year, she has been worse than awful. She looks like someone pulled off the street who's never seen a basketball game before.

Less Maya Moore & Mom curse, and more the Curse of Not Properly Replacing A Legend.

I'd probably agree with that but we would be seeded pretty low for a Lady Vols team with a 17-13 record. Somewhere around #11 or #12 probably. Right now, after the LSU loss we're probably down to a #7 or #8 seed & definitely out of the top 25.

Worse Lady Vols team to my memory. The one that won the national title with Holdzclaw lost 10 games but they were darn good. This team has some talent but they don't have a Pat Summitt coaching them either. I can't believe we're 16-11 & 7-7 at this point in the season. Unbelievable!

With strong guard play we're a good team, we have no guards. Unless our guards improves dramatically over the next couple of weeks. Could it be a first round exit from the NCAA?

Bad season happen, I know not to the Lady Vols.

As long as Holly continues to roll with Carter/Reynolds, Tennessee will roll right out of the NCAAT in the first week.

I have no idea why she relied so heavily on them. Reynolds had a few good games in a row, but has been mostly bad. Carter has sucked all year. But yet they still get big time minutes. Makes no sense...

Ah, the tournament. The LVs will get in out of respect for Pat, but is anyone seriously looking forward to what a Connecticut, a Notre Dame, or a Maryland will do to them?

Bout time. Now if only something could be done about Carter.

Looking at the box score, there's no reason that Diamond shouldn't have played 35+ minutes in this game. If Holly had a clue about how to coach and played her more, she would have had another 10 points or so and this game would have been in the "W" column.

Oh, you know never been a fan of either, well Reynolds upto this year. Yes, to get as much time, they are the worse guards ever.

I agree, if she keeps playing them she will lose, she will lose, she will lose, at this point, I would be playing the two freshman as much as possible, to me they wouldn't be doing any worse.

They would not be on the floor. There career would be over. They would be riding the pine. What's the name of Uconn player's, 7-12. Yea exactly we don't know, and Holly u can't play em all, cos all of em are not that good and your playing the wrong ones.

I don't pretend to follow the LV's near as actively as I do men's football and basketball, but watching that presser... Holly takes no accountability and looks lost.. She also is holding back tears which is kinda shocking to see from a head coach. She's in over her head at this point.

DeShields you can see the absolute frustration on her face. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see her transfer again. I wouldn't blame her either. Holly doesn't treat her fairly when it comes to how she plays with her minutes given on the court. Seems she has a short leash for DeShields over most other players. How can that be for your best overall player? Makes no sense whatsoever!

Diamond is our best player without question but she's always looking over her shoulder to be taken out of the game for her mistakes when the rest of the girls do the same thing. I'd trust Diamond with the ball in her hands anyday over any other player that we have. Holly won't let her be! :unsure:

As bad of a coach as Holly is, you can't coach stupid and the plays , or lack thereof , that our players made today in the last 30 seconds made me feel sorry for Holly. If the missed FT's weren't bad enough, fouling LSU up 1 with 4 seconds to go was just plain STUPID!

In Holly's defense, Diamond once again led the team in turnovers. That is probably the reason she was benched in the first half. Any tweets from her father today?

Sit her, and Tennessee loses by 20.

Better to have her on the court and turn the ball over a few times while scoring then having dead weight Defensive Specialist stand around and contribute nothing, except an unnecessary foul at the end of the game to hand the ball over to LSU.

If Holly is too clueless that she can't see that turnovers are a small price to pay for the other assets Diamond brings to the court, then DeShields should start looking for next school, since she will get nothing out of playing for Holly.
