Somebody gets it.
It helps us if Bama wins. Will not get all emotional about it. But it helps the SEC finances for them to win.
Everyone that's asked me about the National Championship has gotten the same response from me, "I want Notre Dame to lose." "Why?" they ask me. I respond, "because F*** NOTRE DAME, THAT'S WHY!!!"
I hate ND and I hate Alabama but for me this is a conference thing and that means Money
For a program that is broke...we need money (However painful)

Not really certain that's true. If I recall correctly, Bama's (& really any bowl participant's) paid per appearance...not an amount based on whether they win or lose.
Same amount of money should be flowing into the conference
Buck Fama, go golden domers! Eye hate Alabama.
No the money is guaranteed already winning or losing doesn't matter so bama gets 17 million for the game thats 17 million coming back to the SEC UF in the sugar bowl gets 13 million thats 13 million for the SEC...So everyone that thinks that winning has something to do with it I don't have a clue where you got that idea from
correct
Pretty sure both teams get equal pay and we get the same share of proceeds, win or lose, so why pull for the turds?Somebody gets it.

The exposure of winning the National Championship equates to dollars in the Conference. This does not translate to dollars for winning .This is bigger than that It is the exposure of the conference which leads to more games for the entire conference on TV and in Recruiting. Every time the conference plays a game all schools are shown. When the SEC has their wins and losses the conference is shown
This is a business deal not a simple transaction
I really hate when this board goes personal
You can blame Hollywood and "Rudy" for some of the hype Notre Dame gets too. Maybe we need to make our own film. Perhaps call it "Grudy"
