How do you not like touchdown Jesus? Especially on Christmas eve. Besides if you gonna hate anybody hate the media, its not ND's fault they get publicity, and besides There really isn't another relevant catholic college, they have the cream of the crop to choose from. Its not hard to have success at ND, like FLA.

I'm sorry, but I am pulling for the Irish this time. Alabama needs to lose. I am an SEC guy but I just can't do it this year. 3 reasons.
1. I hate them so much, because I live 15 minutes from the border, and guess who's fans started showing up in the past 4 years?
2. Saban needs to lose. Recruits need to see they can choke in the championship.
3. I hate them so much. I would express my hatred in specific words but I would be banned from the board. I want to watch people cry and delete their "Roll Tide" facebook posts.

I could not care one bit less if Notre dame is catholic or anything else. I'm tired of seeing them every Saturday on NBC which is the Notre dame football company. They don't deserve the publicity and shouldn't be in the championship game. They don't play a tough schedule like the SEC teams do week in and week out. I don't like pulling for bama, but I want them to show why the SEC deserves to be known as the best conference in America. On January 7th its go Bama. I'd like to see a total annihilation of the domers!

This pisses me off more than I can stand. UT isnt Notre Dame...you are dam! right! In the past twenty years UT has had 9 10+win seasons and a National Championship. In the same time frame Notre Dangit has had 5 10+ win seasons. The media needs to quit suckling the marketing teet and do some fair and unbiased reporting.
Yes we have been bottom barrel for the past two coaching terms but we WILL BE BACK!!!
I am no Bama lover but hope Saban and the boys beat the golden helmets into a stupor so the media cant keep the same BS around.

You are right. They have one top five finish. Check Rivals. All the numbers are accurate. They have had a class ranked 35 ,41,and 91.

I'm sure that NBC is happy with their ratings this year for Notre Dame broadcasts, but you have to wonder, considering how long the Irish were down, if NBC brass ever said to themselves, "It looked like a good idea back in 1991, but we sure made one heck of a stupid decision signing exclusive broadcast rights for Notre Dame."

I agree I hate Rudy, the four horsemen, the damn gipper, the golden helmets, the leprechan, the touchdown Jesus. I hate everything about em. BTW, I would have chop blocked Rudy's midget arse as soon as he ran on the field!

And "eye" agree with you. The same Vol fans who could actually pull for Alabama to win a football game are the same ones who think the Gators are as big a rival as the Tide. I think it is probably just a generational thing. They're just too young to get it.

All of the officials that are used, in the booth, on the field, everyone that takes part in an official review of a Touchdown, cheated, together, as a team, against Stanford, to help ND win the game. FLAT OUT CHEATING. When 1 person makes a mistake, it's just that. A mistake. When it takes a collective effort to blow a call that obvious, it IS CHEATING. Notre Dame sucks, and I hate everything about them.

That's true. But, it wasn't an officially reviewed play that obviously WAS NOT a touchdown, that was awarded a touchdown. Obvious cheating is obvious, especially on a scale this large.

Bottom line. I hate Bama. I hate Notre Dame and Ohio State even more, and that is saying a lot.

I've lived most of my life down South and dealt with many idiotic Alabama fans.

I've lived part of my life in the Midwest and dealt with many delusional Notre Dame fans.

With that said, I hate them both. I have to, however, root for Alabama. Anybody who has lived outside of the South knows what I mean when I say it's about regional pride in cases like this. I can't stomach the thought of seeing my Midwestern friends smirking with pride after an ND victory because that means the SEC lost, and they'd tell me all sorts of crap like, "Proof that the SEC is overrated", "ND had a harder schedule, they would have won the SEC if they beat your best team", etc. Yes, they are this stupid. So I have to root for the Southern team to pull out a victory to show those Midwestern pansies how we play football down here.
