I went back to your OP 5 years ago. I comprehend better now. As the season goes, a team like Rutgers will fall to a more realistic place on the ranking.

Python is just a coding language. A "script" is just a python file that executes whatever is written in that file. I am going to write a script that downloads the newest file from the website you speak of and then calculate the equations in your CFB ranking system. What is the website that you get the information from?

I get the CSV file from a section of the NCAA's site that requires a media credential. Maybe it's available elsewhere, but I wouldn't know where to tell you to look.
