I don't know if some of you realize how shady Kiffin had been

I know this may sound like a likely story, but my girlfriend's best friend was neighbors with the kiffins. her parents took us over there to meet them, and layla came to the door with baby in arms. one thing led to another and next thing I know I have that damn baby in my arms. I was the only guy there, so they were trying to pick on me

Good story. And how was Layla? Was she wearing these shoes?

I think its going to be interesting to see what Pat Hayden does if Kiffin drops his remaining games to UCLA and Notre Dame, which is very possible.

He will do absolutely nothing. Have you seen Kiff's recruiting class for this year? Holy Moses, I think they even have a 5* deep snapper.

I actually have pics, but their on my ex gfs phone. Yeah shes an "ex" now...forgot to mention that part

Damn...always out of luck on pics. You need to get back with the "ex" just for the pics & share with VN. Layla is very fine material but what in the world happened to Al in that picture? Looks like one of his lineman was told the wrong thing about his play ability & cold cocked Al pretty good. :eek:lol:

Yes fade...last time I looked...which has admittedly been awhile...USC had more 5 stars committed than all the other schools combined. There was like nine five stars committed and Lane had five of them.

unreal!

There were allegations of him partying it up pretty heavily with co-eds. Orgeron and Kiffin had burned a lot of bridges with high school coaches across the South. Kiffin had an incident with the KPD that was pretty sketchy. He had no control over the players and many of the upperclassmen did not respect him. He had alienated most people in the AD.

But other than that, he was pretty upstanding, wouldn't you agree?

eh, we got probation and some sanctions. Mostly the NCAA flexing its muscle because we're not a major draw right now, so they'd rather hit us than do anything about Oregon or LSU. I don't know what would have happened if Kiffin had stayed, but it's hard to think he could have run our program down any lower than it is now.

He did the same things everyone else does. Still nothing but slap on the wrists penalties.

Doubtful, I don't know many other head coaches that get drunk with college aged students and get in the hot tub with them. Next, how many head coaches routinely disrespect their AD and ignore his demands as well as the compliance director. There were major violations under Kiffin that NCAA director could not prove like improper benefits to players. If you will recall Kiffin was recruiting Cam Newton, and he mysteriously was down to Tennessee, Auburn, and Miss. State. Bryce Brown chose UT after other schools cooled on him and there is a reason they cooled on him. UT wasn't on the radar with him until the end.

Until they are stripped of their NC, and it is just a matter of time before it happens. It may take a while but it will. Many programs have been stripped of national titles. Bryce Brown may star in the NFL but he didn't at UT and he may bring a lot of baggage in the future to the program.

Here's the best part: he was ultra-shady, got the NCAA camped out in our back lawn, and still managed to bring in the worst recruiting class in the history of college football while in Knoxville.

Yeah, it totally sucked when he got the top player to sign with us. I'm sure Dooley and his staff had nothing to do with kids leaving or not playing well.

We are lucky that we are not looking at a lot more than we have already gotten. We were on the road to some pretty stiff penalties similar to what Alabama got in the early 2000's. Some of you need to quit with the Kiffin grumbling and at least thank Dooley that he ran a clean program. Had Kiffin stayed another year Orgeron and Garza would have both been encouraged to look around. Orgeron was already looking around. There was also a good change that Chaney was looking to head back to the NFL. Eddie Gran had already left due to Kiffin's shenanigans so the staff Kiffin originally came with would have been a shell of its original self.

whos left of the staff that dooley came with? for kiffin to be such a scumbag i havent heard of one problem out of him since hes been at usc?

He might be a changed man, might.

However, there are a few things here. 1) USC is a private school, so keeping many things out of the public light is much easier, should they want to go that route, 2) did you hear anything about Reggie Bush or their other problems while they were going on, or only after the proverbial feces hit the fan? I know I didn't, but I don't pay much attention to those left coasters...
