I don't know if some of you realize how shady Kiffin had been

whos left of the staff that dooley came with? for kiffin to be such a scumbag i havent heard of one problem out of him since hes been at usc?

Kiffin has continued doing the same stuff at USC. You haven't heard of anything he has done? He is in a pooh pooh storm right now about cheating with the deflated balls. The REASON he is on the hot seat is because 'he has brought embarrassment to the program'. They aren't talking wins and losses.

Not here to argue with you, if its true it should be in the open....just want proof of what you just quoted...(links)

Hayden might sack Kiffin--the coach is on /very thin ice/, especially after the incident in which a USC ball bfiredoy let air out of the balls on the opposing team's sideline. I'm not sure what he was trying to accomplish. The kid supposedly did it himself--but there are suspicions. Kiffin--who most definitely tries to push the envelope on everything--is working for the wrong guy. Hayden is a straight arrow--outstanding individual--who does not tolerate rule bending much less rule breaking. And recall that he did not hire Kiffin, which is why I don't Kiffin is going to last long in his dream job.

Kiffin fired at USC would be the only good news this football season for UT. Al Davis was right about this guy being a liar and we would regret hiring him. Thanks for the penalties now go pump some gas at after you lose to UCLA and Notre Dame.

Kiffin brought in some sociopath for head trainer, and he promptly ran off a good part of the roster.
No question Kiffin's staff could call plays and coach the positions. However, he was a disaster in so many other areas. The culture from Fulmer was a lot worse than many Vol fans will ever conceed. I've talked to Chaney about this personally. Of course Kiffin just made it worse with the some of the characters he recruited.

LK didn't believe in UT. He thought you had to cheat to win in K'ville. UT was headed for big trouble had he stayed.

Doubtful, I don't know many other head coaches that get drunk with college aged students and get in the hot tub with them. Next, how many head coaches routinely disrespect their AD and ignore his demands as well as the compliance director. There were major violations under Kiffin that NCAA director could not prove like improper benefits to players. If you will recall Kiffin was recruiting Cam Newton, and he mysteriously was down to Tennessee, Auburn, and Miss. State. Bryce Brown chose UT after other schools cooled on him and there is a reason they cooled on him. UT wasn't on the radar with him until the end.

News flash UT athletes and other major schools all get extra benefits. I know personally of extra-benefits to Fulmers , and Jerry Greens players. All schools do it.

All Kiffin guys off top of head....that probably half of them

Is this really an attempt to defend Kiffin and his busted top class? If so, I think you forgot to mention the top 7 recruits from that year. Oh yeah, they're not there anymore. Having about a dozen people left (none of which were the top guys) from a recruiting class of over 20 shows just how bad it was. No one in their right mind can defend that class. Hell, that class is even #1 on Rivals list of top classes that fizzled. Rivals.com Football Recruiting - The Unlucky 13: Top classes that fizzled

Btw, I am not counting Hunter as a Kiffin recruit. Because, he was not.

Oh, and you did forget at least one player: Marsalis Teague. You know, the senior defensive back with 3 solo tackles this year who hasn't played since Akron.

Anyways, all I'm trying to get across is there is no way in hell someone can honestly argue that class was not a bust. This is not subjective material at all.

Which top player was that? Palardy? Darr?

Bryce Brown, who has essentially made the jump from high school to a backup with the Eagles. Basically had half a season here and didn't stay at K State long either.

Yeah, Kiffin was gonna get us into more trouble, but he can mop the floor with Dooley in recruiting and coaching.

I cant believe there are people here who still give a fat rats ass about Kiffin.

I would agree with you except for the fact that we got kicked in the nuts by the ncaa yesterday for things that were done on his watch. 3 years after he left ffs.
i hope his d*#k rots off and he can't get a job for the rest of his life. Mr. Davis tried to save Tennessee but was called a crazy old man and a history of close ties between the University and the Raider's organization was ignored by that ftard mike hamilton when surfer boy was hired. "He will destroy the football program and bring down the University with it."

Oh I agree and don't get me wrong I'm glad Kiffin is gone. I disliked the hire from day one. I just wish we could have replaced him with somebody a bit better. I did like Kiffins recruiting ability though. He sold Tennessee as a cool place to be and play football. I know it wasn't traditional but the result spoke for itself by the caliber of kids he was bringing in.

I'm not sure what virus infects Kiffins but I hope we can get Tee back before he catches something bleach can't wash off!:lame:

The trouble with that word is that it can mean multiple things. The caliber of player he brought in also held up frat kids at a major booster's gas station, kicked KPD police officers in the head, had emotional breakdowns, and then left the program.

Well the negavols have already convinced themselves to ostricize him and the rest of us fans think he should stay away so we don't see him bashed further by the negavols. I'm really disgusted by how that transpired.
