I hope Butch and staff knows how big Oct 25 is now

Everyone knows the talent gap. Everyone know they will beat us. But i wont ever let them have the pleasure of hearing me say that.
If someone you know that can whoop you calls you out in front of eeveryone , you gonna be a coward and look pathetic or are you gonna have some pride

I think we just did.

Yep, the new OC for alaBummer is none other than laMe kiffScum, YUKKKK!!!

Now we'll have to see that scumbag every year.

Makes me want to puke and I was hoping he would fall off the Earth.

Will this be nick saTans 1 big mistake that makes alaBubba worse?

I sure hope so!

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!

If he runs the same offense that he suggested Saban to run against OU then he won't be there long! Actually I'm surprised they even hired him after his tutoring before that game and the out come they had!

Even when Kiffin was safely ensconced at his "dream job" in LA, he had an unhealthy fixation on Tennessee recruiting targets...remember Kerbyson?
Now Saban will sic him on that territory...he is a good to great recruiter and doesn't take no for an answer...the first ten times it's uttered...see his wife and that lady he stole from UT's PR dept...when he took the USC job.

There may be a talent gap, but that is why they play the game. The best teams don't always win either (see the 2007-2008 Patriots). I suspect that the players will be so jacked up and will play out of their skin. I suspect Butch will have a game plan to combat Bama like he did for Georgia this year. I suspect Neyland will be so loud the US geological survey registers earthquakes and Bama has trouble hearing anything. I suspect Lane Kiffin will get a nice welcome from the fans. I suspect we will give Alabama everything they can handle and we will get some good shots in on them. I suspect that it will be a closer game than everyone thinks..

Don't have to wait and see.

Look at how the Raiders played under Kiffin

Look at he cut the legs out from under Tennessee

Look at how USC sank under his watch

Lane Kiffin is a pariah. His pathetic play calls at USC got them beaten by lesser talented teams. Nick Saban has lost his mind if he has hired this guy. Too many fans are dreading Kiffin's return. I am looking forward to it, because history says he will bring Bama to it's knees.

Not seeing the downside.

Here’s my take. The responses on this board are proof that a huge money making opportunity has been orchestrated by the NCAA and TV broadcasters.

Tennessee is on the way back and just might give Bama a tussle. Of late the blowouts have turned what used to be a must watch game into a nothing to see here folks, change the channel game. A rising Tennessee capable of challenging Bama even if only potentially and the UT’s favorite hate child, Kiffin, plus the Saban resentment means $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

The antics and reactions of Vols fans at the game guarantees unprecedented Jerry Springer style, reinforcing Tennesseeans as dumb hicks, and a nationally and possibly internationally embarrassing view of Tennessee. Reality TV at its best. And yeah, there’s the game where we may see our team play as they never have before, win, lose, or draw. It’s a perfect storm, a perfect money making scheduling.

In some backroom somewhere, the plan was pre-tested. Have Saban contact a slightly inferior demon to advise him on his upcoming bowl game. Only Bama didn’t expect to lose that game. No matter, follow up by Bama hiring this inferior demon. Start the slow build up to the third Saturday in October. It will be the return of 1991 Halloween Nor’easter marriage to Hurricane Grace, combined with the May 22, 1960 9.5 Chile earthquake with the March 18, 1925 Tri-State Tornado as a spatula to stir the hellish soup further. “It can’t miss”, they said, “can’t miss.”

In the VN forum and on the campus of the UT, the first stirring, the harbinger of this massive event began with the rumor of the hire. The nation looked toward the Orange Country and uttered with trembling and excitement, “It’s coming. Feel the ground beginning to undulate. It’s coming. The wind has a sinister whisper, a hint of chill. It’s coming. The sea and sky are taking on a strange color. The moon has reversed its orbital motion. Hell’s fires are being left untended. It’s coming.”

The question is, will Tennessee’s reputation survive the coming when fans commit acts deemed unlawful and thoroughly criminal? Or somehow, despite everything, exhibit class and just beat the shoes and helmets off the red team? One thing for sure, there’s money in the making.

Ok, now rock it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why? Who on UT's roster was recruited by Kiff?

It's a bigger deal for the fans (as they never forget and hold a grudge forever) than the players and coaches.
