UK won the title last year, defending champs! Thats something UT will never see. Your football team isnt even top 3 in confrence and your basketball team is a JOKE. Just be happy UK is a big enough name to put your mediocre program on TV a couple of times a year. You were on CBS last week. Hang a banner for that.

It's a rivalry for the simple fact that no team has beaten Kentucky as many times as Tennessee has. Basically, no team is (numbers-wise) a more storied foe for your program.

That's just because Calipari has hated Tennessee since his days at Memphis. Calipari liked to say how Tennessee wasn't Memphis' rival, even though Tennessee led the all-time series and had a good record against his team.

The point was, he said Tennessee is one of thier Rivals. He even said it sticks out more in the fans minds. I know he hates Tennessee, because Pearl basically owned him.

You came and found us, and the only thing you want to discuss is the sport you have the historical advantage in. Don't forget that you're in a football conference.

As I said before, it's obvious that you're only on volnation.com to look down on UT basketball. We have no use for you.

I'm simply pointing our that if you compare our schools "bad sports", UT basketball crushes UK football. Elite 8 is nothing to be ashamed of if I'm a UT fan.

This great UK v UL rivalry took a fifty year vacation until the eighties. UK and UL did not play. If my memory serves me right, it took the threat of legislative intervention (much like that dreaded football school in Memphis) to make UK consider playing that "great" rivalry.

Hey dumbass, UT is ninth all time in football wins and has numerous national titles. I also seem to recall that our women's basketball team has more national titles than anyone. So GTFO with this crap about being mediocre at everything.

UT might be ranked if they hadn't lost all those really close games in a stretch. They've improved over the last month or so.
