I guess we'll see. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I'm going off past history for SEC teams who started off slow and had a weak resume. Tennessee has definitely passed the eye test, though.
Alabama is given way to much confidence by the experts in my opinion to. The truth is that nobody really knows how CCM is gonna have the guys responding, we are in uncharted waters with this guy and most of this team. It takes either sheer talent (Kentucky) or a team that refuses to lose to win the tourney and that could be any team but you cant argue with CCM and the guys refuse to lose attitude the last ten games.seems vanderbilt % to beat us and go to the championship is WAY too high imo.
why are people comparing us to bama last year or mississippi state a few years back. Those teams had inflated records from playing in the west. There sos was bad and they didn't have quality wins. We played everyone from the former east twice this year. Those teams were held out for completely different reasons then we would be held out for so comparing us to them is ignorant.
That Tennessee is even close to getting a bid, like most on here keep harping about. That said, it's a miracle that Cuonzo Martin even has this team competing for bubble consideration. Martin's resume shows that his teams usually improve tremendously from year one to year two. I think he's ahead of that trend.
