I would love it if Chattanooga hired him and kept him in the UT family and allowed him to prove himself and it might make it possible to bring him back to Knoxville. However, I believe somebody like UCLA or Texas is going to hire him.

Oh, I dont know...our integrity, our ability to be taken seriously, every ounce of goodwill we still may have with the NCAA.

Name me one school that has ever fired a coach for NCAA violations, and then rehired that coach.

You don't believe in redemption? They'd take us seriously when we started beating them. There is always a first for everything. Plus, we were forced to fire the coach. Many coaches have committed NCAA violations and not been fired.

I don't have have to, the men have had higher attendance and higher TV ratings for years despite having a fraction of the success. I don't care how well known the women's program is or how many fan clubs they have, the fact is there still is more measurable interest in the men's program.

I've stated over and over that Martin should go if he doesn't make the NCAAT this year, but you're apparently too stupid to understand anything other than some black and white "HAIL MARTIN/FARR MARTIN". You're a miserable excuse for a fan and a straight up liar if you say you "NEVER" want Tennessee to lose. Anyone that's read any post you've made in the past week can see you're as giddy as it gets that Martin is losing.

I like watching the women more than the men. It's better team ball and better fundamentals. They play smarter than the men. I can't stand watching the NBA. It's street ball.

I'm a Vol fan, you're a Vol fan. Let's just agree that we disagreed on several things the past few days, and we're likely going to disagree about whether Pearl is going to be here again or not.

I think it's safe to say regardless of how we both felt before last night, we're now both on the same page that Martin needs to go. I know you think it should have happened yesterday but I'm certain barring a complete breakdown, he'll make it to the end of the season.

And to be completely clear, I'm not against Pearl coming back, I just don't see it happening, if for nothing else our admin would have too much pride to ask a guy they fired to come back. I can't think of any coaching situation in any major college sport where a fired coach has been rehired by the same school, and especially not one with a show cause. Yes, there's a first time for everything, but we're talking lottery winning odds here.

So, is that cool? Let's just start over from here.
