Look this is a dumb debate clearly Pearl made a mistake, everybody has told a lie so get over it. Just as clear is Pearl is a better coach than Martin. He is just better, this team would probably be 9-0 with him coaching. I would 100 percent support Pearl coming back next year, it would be great for TN and we would win, everybody knows we would.

Yeah, having the NCAA breathing down our neck because we hired a show cause coach would be great for Tennessee. Keep telling yourself that. Opponents will use that one over and over against us in recruiting.

Probably would've lost to Iowa and/or Kansas, so the record would probably be the same.

Pearl went to an elite 8 when he scrapped his full court game and went with a half court type approach.

I would like to have some faith in the admin,but I really don't,what is really scary is if CCM is fired and they have to make a hire,I don't know if Hart can back into two good hires or not

Pearl is a better basketball coach than Martin period. Even when he went away from running and pressing he still made the tourney. Martin has never made the NCAA tourney as a head coach. Pearl made it in all 6 seasons he was in Knoxville.

Lofton made Pearl period. Yes he went to a an elite 8 without him but he got bounced in the first round twice the other two years. The fact of the matter is he shouldn't have made it to the tourney his last year with 3 ugly losses (worse than UTEP and Xavier this year) and a 19-14 record (which was worse than CCM's first year)

Without Lofton Pearl's overall record was 68-37 and 29-19 in the SEC. That's 65% overall and 61% in the SEC. So far CCM is 45-31 overall and 21-13 in the SEC. So that's 59% overall and 62% in the SEC. I loved Pearl when he was here but I can admit that he started declining once Lofton graduated. Yes he had his team hot at the right time and went to the elite 8 but he also had a more talented team in 2008-2009 than this years team and lost in the 1st round and went 21-13.

I see what you did here... avoiding the real issue because you do not know enough about it and instead tried to shift the focus to a spelling error. Let me know when you want to discuss the issues I brought up. I honestly don't care how you spell his name because a loser coach is a loser coach no matter how many ways you can spell it. Example Dooley, Dooli, Dooleey, Doooley..... Any other suggestions?

I'm not a Cuonzo supporter, so although you still can't spell the coaches name after 3 years, we are on the same side of the argument.
