yeah, these are 17-18 year old kids who have grown up idolizing Garnett, Allen and Pierce and have watched them win multiple championships. Then you tell them if they stay at Tennessee they will be coached by a guy who coached them. Yeah, they're going to be so pissed. So pissed, they probably literally will piss their pants.
So, if this dream scenario happens, what do you tell the kids who want to meet the new HC?? They have to wait for possibly two months or so, till he gets here?? I see a big problem with that, especially trying to keep Jones and Ware in the fold.
The Celtics have one 1 championship, with all of those players there, not multiple.
This doesn't even make sense. What does this have to do with Doc Rivers' salary?
Because he makes 5.5 million per year, and he would likely make 2 million here. Why wouldn't he try to hang on and see if Rivers leaves, and he can take over?? Even if he doesn't, if he's this awesome college coach people are making him out to be, then big name schools should be beating down his door next year or sooner.

I doubt very seriously you ever watched the Nets while he was coaching and really know what kind of coach he is. With that said though, I would take him over Byrd anyday of the week. However, Byrd will be your next coach.....

Oh, I was just going by your telling me that Byrd could outrecruit Frank because of his vast recruiting connections and experience in the college game.
I never said he could out recruit him, I just stated that he has much more of a base to go off of right now than Frank does. Byrd has spent years building relationships in college, Frank hasn't. All Frank would have at first is his name, and no college experience that is worthy of mentioning to pitch.
