If there were 14 nick saban's in the sec

You do realize it's been nearly a decade since his last SEC title, right?

Donnon-40-19 with 1 SEC title
And before that they had there Dooley, Ray Goff: 46-34-1.

It's still impossible to deny the major advantages Richt has over the rest of the SEC. Georgia is a sleeping giant.

Donnan never won an SEC title. No he didn't. His record at UGA:

96: 5-6 3-5 T4th east
97: 10-2 6-2 T2nd east
98: 9-3 6-2 3rd east
99: 8-4 5-3 3rd east
200 8-4 5-3 T2nd east

40-19 overall (67%), 25-15 SEC (62%), no division titles, no SEC titles.

Richt is 126-45 (74%), 72-32 SEC (69%), 6 division titles two conference titles.

Gunslinger, quit shooting from the hip. Comparing Donnan to Richt is asinine. Shows a weakness or flaw, either way. Get it right before shooting that squirt gun off in public.

He is a relentless recruiter and hires relentless recruiters. That and great scheme makes the head coach the most important thing a football program has. All of the things you listed stem from a great CEO running things.

Somewhat true, but there are many things that can will happen. your saying that each company that has a great CEO will always be a great company... maybe in a perfect world. The organization may have corruptions within that he will have to address, but the damage is ALREADY done. The CEO can effect almost everything and he cannot always keep the company and the people under him EXACTLY how he would like it unless you know of a perfect world. If team's success and failures only came from the head coach I think there would be some some huge upsets.

Only one would win the SEC. Only one fan base would be happy. Over time, several would be planning an exit strategy for Nick.
Because the SEC is stronger than ever, in spite of our failures as a program, Butch Jones could be the greatest coach we've ever had and we might not know it.
I don't believe anyone will win as much as Fulmer in the 90's. No way will we dominate Bama and Uga like he did. I do expect Coach Jones to yearly have us on par with the better teams in the east as early as 2015.
But because there are so many top programs, 8 or 9 wins will be good years. Look at last year andt tell me who had a good year and look at their record. But don't expect Fulmer style winning year in and year out. That's not to say we won't win the sec, but we might have a coach whose record will look more like John Majors or Mark Richt of late than Phil Fulmer and that's ok!

Well, if we have to start relying on luck as Fulmer did we all know what will happen to the program!

Everyone has out of state competition.

Last time I checked, one minor typo does not make an argument invalid.

Fulmer can thank DuBose, Goff, and Donnan for his domination. He had a perfect storm - two of our biggest competitors hired crap arse coaches.
