Next 3 games will tell a lot. Many really good Vols teams have looked like that in the swamp. Pretty much all of them really dating back to the Tony Robinson game there.I predicted 9-3 with losses to FL, GA, and AL. However the WAY we lost in Gainesville leads me to think this could very well be an 8-4 or worst case 7-5 season. I hope they get things figured out quickly. Suddenly the SC and A&M games look very shaky.
I'll give $100 if they win more than 6 games. That means that it stays that way, right? No improvement possible, correct?
They have not played well. That does not mean they cannot play well. We are 3 games into the season. Only a troll or a fool would make the kinds of declarations you made. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt by calling you a troll.
At this point, I’d be pretty impressed with 8-4. To win 8 games, that will mean we made some serious adjustments.
I suspect this season will be full of nail biters for us. Not gonna be blowing a lot of teams out.I was at 9-3 preseason with losses to Georgia, Bama, and one of TAMU/South Carolina/Florida.
I'm at 8-4 now. I suspect we will drop one to TAMU or South Carolina. Too much talent at TAMU and as much as it pains me to say, Rattler will carve our secondary up if things remain the same.
Of course we could go 11-1. But we will need to see some fire from the players and way better play-calling on offense.
Or the wheels could come off and we drop 6 including Kentucky.
Weird team this year. I can't put my finger on it, but something just feels "off". Of course that could be BVS flare-up.
A good start would be blowing the doors off the Roadrunners.
Nothing weird about it, we have a qb that wouldn’t start for a D2 team. Josh won’t even let him throw across the middle. I’ve seen him throw one extremely accurate pass all year and it was to Bru on the deep ball at Florida.I was at 9-3 preseason with losses to Georgia, Bama, and one of TAMU/South Carolina/Florida.

We did kick LSU's ass in Baton Rouge last year. After Florida missed that early FG and we seemingly scored with ease afterwards, it looked like we were heading in that direction. We didn't seize the momentum we had gained with it. It's like we stopped playing at that point for the remainder of the first half. I'm almost certain Heupel has addressed it, with both players and assistant coachesAssuming that we've not shown we can show up big @ hostile away venues, the crux of the season's results, in my opinion will come down to winning @ home vs SC and TaM.
If no improvement and the trend of decline continues it will be 5-7 ... but i suppose it is possible for a miracle of nature turn around, and cash could start raining down from the sky in buckets for everyone, but the CURRENT trend is not looking favorable.4 losses being to Fla, Bama, Ga,Tamu.
South Carolina will be a loss
UK most likely a loss.
6-6 with 7-5 being the ceiling. Not sure what games you folks have been watching.

5-7 record would result in absolute VolNation meltdown in totality. Even the sunniest of sunshine pumpers would grab a torch and pitchfork to chase Heupel out of town.If no improvement and the trend of decline continues it will be 5-7 ... but i suppose it is possible for a miracle of nature turn around, and cash could start raining down from the sky in buckets for everyone, but the CURRENT trend is not looking favorable.
