You don't know any of us, or how 'diverse' our lives are. I bet it'd just blow your mind (and probably piss you off) to know that people outside of your ivory tower of diversity can somehow live lives without prejudice based on color. To me, pointing out how many black, latino, etc friends you have shows that you still see a difference in color. Gotta diversify so you can look good, eh?

What you call race relations, I call a normal day. People are people regardless of color. I don't go out of my way to differentiate between white, black, hispanic, etc.

That said, there's absolutely nothing racist about this AZ law or the idea that we need to enforce illegal immigration.

Imagine if I went to UT for 4 years for free. Never paid in a dime. Then after 4 years, show up demanding a degree. It doesn't make sense. Noone would agree with me. Yet, somehow, you and others think someone can skip line, enter illegally, and then have a right to demand services of our country? Garbage.

Illegal aliens are taking the place in line of honest, law--abiding potential immigrants to our country. If I can't trust you to wait in line, how can you be trusted to be a law-abiding citizen of my country?

where is it that you live? Nashville?

you do realize that Nashville is a speck compared to Charlotte, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, etc?

you seem way too willing to hold yourself up as an example of big city tolerance and sophistication, but you come across as an arrogant little prick.

been to atlanta and loved it.... plan on going to chicago soon........ love the diversity of cultures and not the small-town attitude of "my way or no way."

truth can hurt... i've heard more racial slurs in small towns (from my extended family, from friends that live in small towns, from random people in a bar in a small town) than at anytime with my time in the city.

sucks to be totally profiled, huh?? like many are doing on here when it comes to muslims.

I have a cousin that has lived up there for 12 years.

Take note of the diversity in gangs when you make the trip.
They gather together at night and roast marsh mellows on the street corner. They have so much fun, the National Guard has been asked to join the fun.

So all small towns are made up of nothing but white people???? Why the motel here and some of the convience stores are owned here by people from other countries, here in "small town" Alabama, who would of thunk it!

I love how I profiled small towns on here and it got everybody upset.... But doing the exact same things to muslims, hispanics is OK in your eyes. It's just purely hypocritical.

You have no problem with others being profiled, but the second (and i do mean the second it happened to you, and this was on a message board for crying out loud and not in real life) everybody that is getting profiled gets all upset.

That was truly a fun experiment. Shockingly, my hypothesis came true.

yeah, i was just the first person who replied to the thread saying those folks are horrible human beings.

Lets see, in the "small town" I live in there are whites, blacks, hispanics, indians (both native and others) along with a few others. You really have no idea of the make up of small towns, just your profiling of what you think they are. You really should get out more.

I could care less what you fit me as.

I just find it funny that when you get upset, you revert to what supposedly makes you upset.

In your instance, using the word hypocrite in a claim against anyone is funny.
