I'm reading that as , " Everyone suddenly thinks it's Ohio State. All signs point to Ohio State. But something seems off " like maybe Tate's camp is quietly playing a little misdirection to keep his announcement from getting bungled . We've seen weirder things.

We’ve heard this song and dance for years. It’s better to expect disappointment than to expect the best. I know it’s pessimistic but at least it won’t ruin your day when he doesn’t pick us. I hope I’m wrong and he picks us, but with this offense (and assuming we get Benson) I think we will be fine. Defense is the question.

It never ruins my day, regardless of how optimistic I may have been. If he doesn't pick us it would not suck any less if I thought he wasn't coming here from the beginning. I have never understood why people think optimism is bad because it hurts less if you don't think there's a chance.

Ohio state was bashing him a couple of weeks ago when they thought he was trending away from them. We’re no different from any other fan base if anything…we’re more passionate than most fan bases
