‘23 IL WR Carnell Tate (Ohio State commit)

I don’t recall that but if you did, kudos to you. Although I think even you didn’t expect that much improvement. Either way I hope we can sustain it.
Honestly i think stats cover up the truth.

Our offense has holes. It's not the 9th best offense. Not even the top 15 in my opinion.

With that said, still pleased about where we're going.

Sounds like the bargaining stage, a few more steps before acceptance

The $8 million has never been “officially” proven though
True but recruits talk. Now that TN is known to spend money, others will want to see what they can get to possibly use it as leverage against another school. Supposedly two highly ranked players from Montgomery just decided they are interested in TN and want to visit? Come to TN and act interested, see what TN would offer, and then go to AL or Auburn (or wherever) and tell them to match it or they're out. Color me skeptical with this one, hope I'm wrong but it doesn't pass the smell test.

This NIL is in the process of completely changing college sports.
Money will outweigh loyalty for these HS kids and the college they choose.

Jerry Maguire movie stated it the best, "show me the money" and HS kids are bashful about letting it be known.

After all, we are on the same team

Go Vols!!

They paid Quinn Ewers a million bucks to go there haha

Oh, they did not....... They actually wanted him to complete his senior year because he would never have played behind Stroud, probably McCord (another 5*QB), and Jack Miller (now at Florida). Too many competitive QB's. He was probably never going to start and he knew it.... That's why he transferred to Texas where he wanted to go all along...... OSU didn't give him the NIL money, Ed Ricart Ford in Columbus did, plus a full-sized loaded truck.

Just like UT isn’t paying Nico a dime, Spyre is.
