Sitting 3 quarters of the first 3 games of the season were leading factors of his slow start this year. He's sat enough. JMO
Agreed. We don't have to throw it deep constantly vs these smaller opponents just because the play is there. When the score gets comfortable (say 24+ poiint lead) we should specifically call more short to immediate plays so Nico can work on his timing and the WRs can work on cleaning up their routes and creating more space from their defenders. Obviously there comes a point where you do take Nico out and let other players get reps while protecting your starters.
I like that we were able to adjust the offense against UGA and have some consistency and success offensively that we hadn't seen against UGA since Huep arrived. Big chunk plays that we seem to live and die by are much harder to come by when playing tough defenses like UGA, So seeing us be able to move the sticks and converting a lot of 3rd downs was very encouraging I thought.
