There’s a difference between playing smart and playing scared. Nico needs reps. If they go out and handle business, he’ll be holding a clipboard before halftime.

Not once did I say Moore getting the start would make team better. What it does allow is guarantee this team doesn't get worse in the eyes of the CFP ala Jordan Travis scenario last year.

Nicco has not played to what I thought he might,but he has a lot of talent.His recievers have not helped him much at all and the OL doesn't give him time he needs.TE position is playing better than the rest of the offense.I don't see an easy answer for the offense to produce a a high level against the better defenses!

I would be TOTALLY shocked if Josh bench’s Nico for the UTEP game. I don’t like it BUT margin of victory CLEARLY matters to this committee 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

I get your thought process, JMS, but I disagree.
I think Nico needs to start and get the reps. If the Vols get a nice comfortable lead, I would be ok with Gas Pipe seeing the field then....but until that happens, Nico needs all the reps.

This is about making the playoffs, get a big lead then we can sit. This is no time to coddle. I am for sitting him in a huge lead but we need to kick UTEP up and down as well as Vandy. If anything Nico looked just fine last Saturday maybe his best first half of the year. At the end of the day the coaches know who is hurt and who isn’t. Just my 2 cents. We need to make a point to the committee and win by as many as we can. If there was ever a run it up weekend this is it. GBO

I just wanna see us call plays that I and my other buddies who aren’t paid coaches can’t see and call before every snap. Oh 3rd and 12 on the 40 and it’s a Sampson run. That makes sense. 🤦‍♂️

Well they moved Bama up 3 spots for beating mighty Mercer 52-6. And they have rewarded 1 loss teams playing weak schedules. If the Vols aren’t fired up to high heaven now we don’t have a pulse. Watching Finebaum today it is obvious most think this committee is clueless. We need to win both of these games and play all out. We need to prove our point and make a statement. Now if we get a huge lead unload the bench late but we don’t need to play pattie cakes with UTEP or Vandy. We need to be a team on a mission. It’s time for us to hit a good stride going down the stretch. GBO

The only thing we can control to make the playoffs is absolutely crushing these next two games. That's it, period. We can't control these other teams winning or losing or how the playoff committee views them if the games are close. We need to look dominant and let the chips fall where they will because we've lost the ability to play for our own destiny. We can only control our play in the next two games. I feel bad for utep but we need to make some kind of national headline statement. 80-90 pt game. A headliner that can't be ignored. Then follow it up with a 40 pt beat down of vandy. We need to look the part, especially on defense because the entire country knows our D is good... if they see any weakness on D, it's over. Even that might not be enough but it's green light time in my opinion. It's out of our hands so play free and without pressure. Send it

I agree, but it's funny seeing these posts now after seeing everybody scream "Why is Nico still in" halfway into the second quarter of Chattanooga and Kent st.

In the old days I would say he needs experience as he's just a freshman but today I'll say he makes millions of dollars to play a game, so entertain me and earn that money.
