I'm hearing Worley is possibly out...

I think Peterman would be a solid choice too because he would be more of a threat on the read option. If Worley hands it off EVERY time against D1 schools you might as well remove the read and option from the play call

I don't think anybody is saying we would have won, it would have been less embarrassing though.

You're talking degrees of crapping our pants. They were going to score as many as they wanted to.

Our run game has been trash against good defenses behind this line. It was built by Chaney for pass blocking.

The last part has some truth to it.

Add to that we have 3rd string SEC backs starting, a QB that scares no one running or throwing, its kinda hard to tell if they are as much of the problem as the other 2.

The read option with Worley makes zero sense. It seems the run game would benefit from moving to the pistol, because everyone knows that Worley isn't going to run with the ball.

I would think It's a lot more comfortable walking around with a skid mark in your underwear than a big dukie pie.

It has been stated time and again that the read option has zero threat with Worley. Peterman's first offer was from Butch. Surely he at least can provide a semblance of a threat as a QB keeping the ball on the read.

Any confirmation yet - the OP is known for starting failed threads

Butch just said in the presser that whoever practices best this week will be our starter in the Swamp. Said that even if it means Dobbs is running the read option or Ferguson is taking the snaps.

So, whether its your football team or your personal life, you take a nuanced approach to grading blowouts?

Butch just referenced what I was getting at earlier with the WRs. New guys on the outside = problems for QB development.

Heard it as well... This is exciting.... Come on boys fight for this position! !!!

There were practice reports last week that said Dobbs was giving our 1st D fits in his role as the ducks QB. That has to be worth something, right?

All this faint praise given to Worley (he gets us lined up, he doesn't make mistakes) is mind-numbing. He came into his third season with a suspect arm, no wheels, and no playmaking ability to point to - but people were willing to suspend judgement in the hopes that the new staff and new system would make him a serviceable SEC qb. Unfortunately there is plenty of evidence after 3 games to suggest that is too much to hope for.
