I'm hearing Worley is possibly out...

I disagree. Maybe he didn't cost us the game, but he sure as heck didn't do anything to keep us in it either.

We've known from the beginning that Worley is not an all SEC quarterback nor the biggest playmaker, but knows how to run the offense and not lose games. People were great with that until they got stomped and he's the easy target to blame for it.

Almost 1/4 of our entire offensive output came from one pass on Saturday. Our average running the ball was less than 3.67 YPC in the first half. This O-Line is not built to run the ball, no matter who is behind the line.

We have a ton more issues than just Worley. Besides, he didn't take a sack, nor did he throw a pick. Worley didn't play us out of that game, no matter what anyone says.

Sorry, I will never buy this...

Couldn't agree more with your second paragraph tho. :good!:

It's the reality of being an SEC quarterback. As he goes, the team goes. Solid quarterback play cures a lot of weaknesses.

I think ya'll would be surprised to see what Peterman can do. Great kid, strong arm, decent speed. Give the boy a chance!!

I've supported Worley and will continue to do so, But I'm not blind to the fact that he has trouble at times even coming close to his target. He has struggled enough in each game to warrant a change if CBJ was telling the truth about the competition being so close.

Who was ok with Worley being mediocre ? We need to change and find a QB who can lead this offense not just watch over it. It's time for Peterman to get a chance or one of the freshman. It is a brand new offense so let a brand new player run it and learn it for the next four years and make it their own.

Talk about a stretch. You throw to a spot on curl routes, out routes, etc, not a post pattern or a drag route. I'm all for trying to be positive but , come on man! He's flat out missing. Yes we have WR issues but some of his throws are inexcusable.

Calm down, I agree with you for the most part. It was just a thought.

What about the missed completion to Croom, who was butt naked open at the Oregon 15 when we were down 17-7? How many times did he underthrow or overthrow Josh Smith? He may not have had any detrimental throws or turnovers, but he did absolutely NOTHING to help us stay in that game. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Period.

So, Worley allowed Oregon to score 59 points, right? Before you go spouting off about TOP, we held the ball in the 2nd quarter, for almost the same amount of time that Oregon held it the 2nd and 3rd quarters combined.

We were NOT going to win that game, even if Worley was Peyton Manning.

I don't think anybody is saying we would have won, it would have been less embarrassing though.
