He was not the first choice, but neither were Saban, Miles, Richt, Bielema, or Spurrier (to USCe). First choices hardlly ever work out and I hope he wins big...He has my full support...#VFL

Good hire IMO
But don't expect to much. Going to Oregon to bama, to SC, to the swamp. But I know one thing, I'm Lesbian for Butch!!!

if you love UT and are a VFl, then you have no choice but to support CBJ and staff.

I hope good things follow him and wish for the best.

That doesn't mean I'm not a little pessimistic about his future here.

Its gonna be tough sledding.

Here is my break down of the schedule:

Should win games:
vs. Austin Peay; vs. Western Kentucky; vs. south Alabama; @ Missouri; @ Kentucky

Winnable Games:
@ Florida; vs. Georgia; vs. South Carolina; vs. Auburn; vs. Vanderbilt

Most Likely Losses:

@ Oregon; @ Alabama

If we win the games we should and steal a game or 2 we could win...we will be 7-5 or 8-4 in his first season...JMO

I love the optimism and if he goes 8-4 they might put him in the ring of honor.

When he said he wanted a person on staff who has been there, done that at Tennessee, he had me. I've said all year we only had one guy like that, and I don't think Dooley gave it a second thought.

I'll support him til he gives me reason not to.

Its about time people get on board...The guy aint going anywhere and people can keep making pointless threads on here but unless your last name is Hart, its pointless to even bring up negative sh!t for another 3 years.


Dude had me sold before the presser but closed the deal with the whole "molding the scheme to the players" part.

I'll be the first to admit I wasn't a fan of this hire. But, after his first presser, I'll bite. We'll have to see what kind of staff he assembles. I'd love to see him keep Chaney, Graham, Pittman, and Hinshaw, but I doubt that will happen.
