I like your attitude. Some of our fans have been down so long that they can't feel good about anything without persistent doubt. But I have a more optomistic outlook for the reason that Jones has some kind of success to show for his work. You could almost say we gambled on Dooley's bloodline because he had no actual record of success to gage him on. It's really kind of bizarre that a major college's AD would have climbed out on such a limb. And it was really bizarre that he would take a major college with him out on that limb. Of course, it did cost him his job eventually.

^^^ I pretty much agree with this. I don't doubt CBJ, everything sounds good so far, but ... I pretty much always think that and I have certainly been wrong before. Bottomline: he's our coach ... make it happen cap'n.

And where did all my "likes" go? Do we only get a limited number for a while?

Instead of posting some ignorant video (I will give you its funny) why don't you explain why you think its a "fail"? If your gonna make a statement then back it up with something tangible.

Support the Vols, but we need to see how NSD goes and the product he puts on the field before all the worship starts.

That talent didn't fall out of the sky. Nick Saban won and attracted that talent and continues to win. You can't discredit what he has done over there from a situation that was similar to our very own.

I'm going to hold out on my judgement until the UGA game but I will say I have liked his press conferences so far and his interviews. It will be nice to see how the players react once spring practices get underway and to see if he keeps bringing in former players but so far I'm enjoying him. In the end though it all comes down to winning ball games!

I could convince myself either way at this point. But its a lot more fun to pay attention to the positive stuff.

Yeah, i think i can safely say i enjoyed the fired up bUTch jones video much more than the other......failed video. I dont ever remember seeing anything even close when Dooley was hfc. Our HFC has the intensity and fire to give UT the edge in ballgames. Itll help UT turn the corner and get its first signature win in years. Im glad we have a motivator who is hungry to make it big time here in Knoxville. Its worked for him everywhere he has been, so WHY NOT HERE! Go Big Orange!

I hope I am wrong. But I think he won't make it. Dooley couldn't coach or motivate to save his life. But he got SEC players there. Don't matter how good of a coach you are in this league you need players. I don't like turning to tos and seeing guys that look like Scotty. Mc Creery getting offered to play at Tennessee.

I was watching his team meeting and I swear he took the shape of a unicorn! I couldn't even make eye contact with him! His voice was a combination of Fergie and Jesus!
