I Hope Butch does well..I really do but I am in the let's see it on the field camp
With that being said this is EXACTLY what alot of season ticket holders are saying about our Yearly letters from the AD telling us about our "investment"
Before I get Slammed with a "if you don't like it don't do it" simplistic bull crap from people who don't write the check every year, let me tell you that without the average donor's commitment to the University this program would have gone to the wayside years ago No updates to Neyland not training facility and no buyouts for coaches
We have 3 Major donors and the rest are people like me
This program does not run on the 3 it takes the 70,000

FYI - Your own vaunted UT AD refers to donations and fan support as "investment" into the program!!!! Shall I pull quotes for you from the AD over the past decade???
And to say that the UT AD and its many programs has no responsibility to its fan base is completely and totally asinine!!! Without fans and their monetary support - whether it be in tix sales, required donations, other donations, merchandise sales, concession sales, tv contracts (without fan support in the magnitude that we are dealing with in the SEC - there would be no $$$$ TV deals) - there would no such thing as major college sports.
If UT Ad had no responsibility to its fans, then why do they do the numerous Vol road shows (or autograph sessions - meet your seats - junior Vol programs - Vol athletic camps - "tailgater" awards - "Core Values" of the UT AD include Service to our students, fans and community). In fact the UT AD and all of its coaches have said that they have a responsibility to the fan base!!!!
