Indianapolis Colts= 2007 World Champions

to answer my own question. no he didn't. instead he threw up a gaudy 35.3 qb rating in a humiliating loss in which manning had 4 ints.

Didn't that same team win the Super Bowl that year? He's come as close to beating the Pats in the postseason as Warner, McNabb, and Delhomme have.

Jibberish is fun.

i'm not sure what you can't understand about my statement, but it's obvious you can't understand a lot of things.

in the postgame interview peyton manning (who according to you was actually blaming himself) said, and i quote

"i'm not trying to be bad teammate here, but..."

how is that accepting blame?

did i ever say warner, mcnabb, and delhomme were the class of the nfl? no i did not

I understand sentences that have verbs. I like how you used one phrase from the interview to determine the entire message.

You're not making any sense whatsoever.

what else do you want me to say? it was obvious to anyone that knows how to speak english that in the original postgame interview when manning said "i'm not trying to be a bad teammate here, ... let's just say we had some problems with protection."

peyton is obviously distancing himself from the team, if you can't see that you are blind. i can't help you with that. however, i know some good eye dr's. i can set up an appointment for you if you would like.

Actually you don't see spoken words, you hear them. I'm sure an optometrist or an opthamologist can explain that to you.

either way. they went down in print, thus i read them as well as heard them later on. either way, if you can't see or "hear" that peyton was distancing himself from the team, i don't know how else to show it to you.

I found this...

FOX Sports - NFL - Manning stays quiet about Colts' defense

In the second half of last week's loss at Houston, television cameras captured Manning pleading with the defense to make a stop. Then in his postgame news conference, Manning acknowledged the NFL wasn't basketball, where players go both ways, a comment construed by some as being critical of the defense.

In the locker room Wednesday, defensive players said they were not offended even though Manning tried to avoid the topic altogether.

A case of the media blowing something out of proportion? never...

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Everyone else might be content criticizing the Indianapolis Colts' defense. Right now, Peyton Manning prefers silence.

Rather than discussing the Colts' defense Wednesday, Manning focused on what the offense must do to pull the Colts out of their late-season funk. "If I sit here and be silent, do y'all use that on film?" the two-time MVP asked after a long pause. "It's our job (on offense) to do what we need to do to win the game."

glad he can say it on wed. wish he could just shut his mouth up sunday evenings.

You're right he probably should have congratulated his defense for a fine performance and told them to keep it up in the playoffs so that they can lose in the first round and everyone can continue calling him a loser.

just watched the postgame interviews they have on Indy's site, and the defensive players themselves said they blew it.

I'm not seeing a problem here personally, but if it feeds your Peyton hatred, more power to ya.

or he could have kept his mouth shut. or at the very least, say "we have to get it together going into the playoffs". there's no reason to call anyone out. that's all i'm saying.

Colts finish the regular season 12-4 after an unimpressive 27-22 win over Miami.

The Colts are the No. 3 seed in the AFC, and they will face Kansas City on Saturday, Jan. 6. I just hope they can contain Larry Johnson to under 200 yards and a couple of TDs.
