Indigenous Marchers, Covington Catholic HS, and Black Israelites preachers = a buffet of media mess

From the article - perhaps the dumbest account of the situation yet.

I totally missed the apeS mimicking which, you know, racist.

Jodi is a loon.

"Jodi Jacobson is president and editor in chief of Rewire.News, where she leads a team of professional editors and journalists reporting on reproductive and sexual health, rights, and justice, and the intersections of race, environmental, immigration, and economic justice."

I only see the one, black face and white eyes and lips. Lil black Sambo had the white eyes and red lips.

Maybe there was no intent at racism at all or maybe they just suck at details. Either way, all white people that put blackface make-up on in any capacity and have even the slightest potential of being photographed taunting a black kid should pump thine brakes and reconsider.
You are assuming that black body paint on the face is black face.
One, it was seven years ago, so these kid in DC weren’t even there. Two, it isn’t uncommon to see high school kids body paint. Maryville does it. Seven years ago, the black face issue wasn’t a story. The kid could have done something that didn’t even intend to evoke racial insensitivity.

Lastly, it’s a diversion to deal with the story at hand. It is apparent you are more concerned about black body paint at a b-ball game 7 years ago than you are about death and violence threats against these students.

Wait, this is an all boys Catholic School on a field trip to washington for a pro life march all decked out in MAGA gear.

Redhat Indoctrination complete.

Nick's real dad done her wrong after that wild weekend in Cherokee. There I said it.

Doh!

Is it apparent? I wonder how that could be when I explicitly implied it could have gone either way?

I don't think I've expressed "concern" over anything in this thread outside of the use of questioning a Kentuckians use of the metric system.

I didn't assume anything and I stand by my belief that a white dude putting on black makeup and taunting a black dude should slow down and consider it may not be a good look.

Did they buy them as souvenirs? I mean they're in DC.
No.
