Utah State getting in made me lol hard. They had the exact same number of wins with three less losses about six years ago and were left out. Guess it just goes to show how absolutely awful the bubble was this year.

I thought Utah St. absolutely deserved a bid, and so did Florida, but *just* barely. Not a 10.

And 110% agreed about Duke. I was literally watching my tv with my mouth hanging open. Coach K has no excuse not to be in the Final Four.

They can say what they want, but Duke is the real overall #1 seed. Hat's right, Billy D should be very happy considering his team shouldn't even be in.

I don't know how WVA or Ohio State didn't get a #1 seed over Duke.....what the hell are they thinking?

like some1 said above. kawhi will go to the NBA, and billy white and malcolm thomas are really good. thomas is a great shot blocker. our gaurds are not the best or the worst. dj gay can drain the 3, and chase tapley is a talented freshman who will be great in the seasons to come. the problem with sdsu is free throws - they shoot like in the mid-low 60% as a team. man to man defense always. struggle against 2-3 zone although they have improved on it lately

I've learned my lesson when it comes to Tennessee basketball: There is a world of difference between what these young guys are saying (or tweeting) and what they actually bring to the court at game time.

They should be madder than hell and take it out on somebody. Most likely, they will have their feelings hurt and roll over.

That's the best example of the Committe making it up as they go. They've been saying a team's last ten isn't weighed more heavily this year, yet they put a team on the 6 line that would have been hard pressed to be a six in the NIT without their stretch run.

Illinois and Mississippi St. got snubbed. I really don't see how those two aren't in.

People need to stop discussing the G'town-UT matchup already...the first round game is going to be a dogfight.

i dunno... 4 guys get suspended and we beat the #1 team in the country. we get drilled by UK and vandy twice in the course of 2 weeks... and then come back and beat UK.

let's look at the situation...

we get embarrassed by UK and then disrespected by the committee. this team needs that kind of motivation. god knows pearl can't motivate them. they need to have something to prove.

5. There are great 5-12 matchups. Too bad Temple and Cornell had to both get screwed to set up the best one.
6. Florida should be thrilled. There's no way they should have been anything better than one of the last two at large teams.
7. Dan Guerrero is a douche. Just tell the truth, the Committee is carrying Duke's water.
8. Utah State is deserving of their bid. Stew Morrill has a blanket offer for home and home series with anyone out there, but nobody takes them up on it.
9. Baylor-Sam Houston State will be intriguing. I think the Bearkats can compete in that one.
10. New Mexico, while good, is over their head in that region. If they survive the first weekend, they have no shot the next.

what really bothers me about how the SEC faired in all this is not that FLA got it so much as it is they got a 10 seed and Mississippi State didnt get in at all.... NO WAY florida has a 10 resume..... they are a twelve loss team and played ONE quality non-conference opponent. meanwhile Mississippi State almost beat kenSucky twice with one of those games being in the conference championship. the west was garbage this year but i think that what they did this weekend shouldv'e gotten them in....
